What prescriptions are you Rx'ed?

Getting a script for pain here is about as rare as hens teeth...best thing i've ever been scriped was 28 30mg codeine (for episiotomy stitches 8))

and a script for fluoxetine when I was having a hard time with being made redundant, he made me answer a load of Qs which made it seem like he would only prescribe if I was feeling suicidal (Iwasn't) but told him I was 8)

My SO just had to have 3 weeks of work with back problems, they wouldn't give him a thing because they didn't want to give him a "false sense of security" I made him go back, and on the 3rd trip he got fucking diclofenac.

Sure makes you glad you pay your NI contributions on the rare occasion you might need somthing more than a paracetamol. 8)

He IS smart..but when he writes that kind of shit out to the wrong one, I bet he will be wishin HE didn't THINK he was so smart, when the DEA come knockin with cuffs with his Name Tag on it hahahhahah PAGE FOR DR. I.M. FUCKEDNOW
 
Klonopin 1mg 2 times daily
Ambien 10mg once a night

(just had to pay $300 to go to a psych to get these prescribed because my GP didn't feel comfortable scripting me anxiety and sleep meds any more. the psych also scripted me Lamictal but it's too expensive and I couldn't afford to get if filled, I can't go off the Klonopin, been on it too long and I'm not ready to taper down, tried to stop the Ambien and I couldn't sleep for like two weeks.)
 
90 OxyContin 80mg (for around-the-clock pain control)
120 Oxy-IR 10mg (for B/T pain)
180 Dilaudid (hydromorphone-IR) 8mg (for B/T pain)
100 10mg Baclofen (for muscle spasms/RLS)
120 300mg Gabapentin (for nerve pain)
120 .5mg Clonazepam (for anxiety/sleep)
30 30mg Temazepam (for sleep)

All from the same doctor too, she likes her script pad ;)

Preface: Before you decide you hate me, please know that I would probably do the same thing Florida opiate addicts have been doing since the "doctors" in that state sold out for the almighty dollar.

I wouldn't quite go that far, it is certainly going to be MUCH, MUCH harder to doc shop/scam doctors in the very near future. I simply LOL at the 21 year olds who absolutely NEED 120 80mg Oxycontin a month, and 200 xanax to go with it. Such a sad, sad state of affairs, and the cause of immense heart-break to the families of those who lost a child/brother/sister/aunt/uncle/etc to an addicted, in no small part fueled by greedy "doctors".

Although heroin will no doubt take the place of the Rx meds in Florida, I can't say that I'm too angry that Rx monitoring/doc monitoring/etc will make it all but impossible to scam meds. At that point, the people who truly need the meds will be able to get them, and the addicts will move on to heroin like the rest of the country. I guess it's a sad state of affairs in every respect, but who am I to judge? I have an opiate habit and would probably take advantage of the same corrupt Florida system.

It's the greedy doctors that really piss me off, however, as they should and do KNOW better and they know EXACTLY what they are doing. Fueling and creating addicts every day...congrats...I'm glad your day of reckoning is right around the corner...friggin scumbags. Addicts can't help themselves, and I certainly wouldn't be able to either if I was spoon-fed enough opiates to kill an elephant each month.

Sorry for the tangent...I'm sorry if I made any Florida addict angry, like I said, I'd be doing the same thing if I lived in your state...I'm just pissed at the doctors who place greed above care...they, imo...should spend years in prison.

Anyway, my Rx? MY ridiculous and certainly paid off by the folks behind Wellbutrin DOC wanted me to fill that Rx...after looking up the pharmacology behind it? Fucking no....way...what the hell is wrong with these idiots, I 'aint that depressed and I don't smoke that often!
 
Great thread here. It is really very alarming to me, when you actually READ what people are on everyday, all day....and functioning that is the real issue. I always had thought about what would happen if I had cancer or something (I dont worry bout that today) wood they just do the I.V. flooowww ? At one point I would have been a medical mystery... I was a beast.....

I agree that with my addictive personality I am not so smart, but really...he is like one of the least educated doctors I've dealt with. He tells me that the kpins aren't addicting and that the suboxones have no potential to be addictive as well...not to mention many many other things he's said to me. I meet with him so briefly that I can't really even fathom how I would get so many things. I am kind of a con though, I do admit it, but I also don't really think what I'm doing is right in a certain sense. It was a mistake for me to do a lot of the things, considering some of my dependancy issues (mostly benzos/subs) but when it all comes down to it, it really opens your eyes and makes you look back being so stuck in a bad position. It does make me think about how much worse off I was on dope, but like i said I don't exactly condone what I do now. Oh and he has told me the DEA has been on him before, but I don't think anything has ever come of it. Sorry for the rant, I hope I didn't waste my time lol.
 
60x lortab 7.5 1x every 4-6 hours as needed 4 pain
90x tylox/5mg oxycodone&apap every 4-6 hours needed 4 pain
120x neurontin 300mg 4 times a day
30x remeron 30mg once at bed time
 
Deez1234 No you did not waste anyones time...and I understand how you would take what he gives you...why not..it is a plus if you can control yourself and maybe stock pile them just incase he does get investigated for some reason..ya never know he just may write that out for someone that hasn't a clue how deadly shit can be...but good luck with this...be careful.Hope to see your posts around in the near future...
 
I was referring to your doctor thinking he is smart ......YOU AND I know we are SMARTER then that....we are the ones that tell him what is wrong with us. correct?
 
I have to say that right there is a hell of a connect....shit...that is a hell of a remedy huh?? Just for the record do not take that out of content I am just amazed at that cocktail..holy shit..that is a medicine ball.

I guess nothing surprises me anymore. I can not say I have heard it all that is for sure, this is just a piece of the pie...imagine the posts that could be here if everyone on drugs post a piece wowoooo I would be fuckin high just reading the shit....8o

Wow. You're doc's gonna have himself on the DEA shortlist with scripts like that
 
Percocet and Cymbalta.

I recently suffered a bad knee injury and have had to go through the ringer just to get an MRI approved by my insurance company. It's been two weeks and I'm in terrible pain. My doctor prescribed me the Percocet (for the record I did not ask for it at any point) and assumed we'd have a diagnosis by now. I was supposed to get the results today but the lab did not fax them and they are closed. As I'm in the waiting room finding this out I ask for a refill (enough so I don't have to suffer) and this annoying tech comes out and proclaims (in front of another patient) that she needs a urine sample. I was outraged. Not because I am naive enough to think there aren't people out there scamming pills, but because she was not discreet about it at all. Once I got in with the doctor I told him what happened and he was pissed. He apologized, gave me the rx and told me to stay home from work on Monday as he was going to call the lab first thing and that he'd see me right away.

I'm not going to sit here and say the high isn't nice, but I feel awful for people who are in pain and have to go through this bullshit to get what they need.

I was gonna say that but I figured I would be oughta of line on the count of not knowing why the doctor is being so lets say "irresponsible" Why in the world would he prescribe 3 types of benzo's?????? I have heard of the different dosages of pain meds, but 3 benzos and the kpins are the biggin's at that. I am surprised he didn't throw in a xanex bar for good behavior..or maybe a morp. patch for those rainy sundays!!!! . What does he give out on Halloween? Let me geuss goody bags equipped with fuckin party horns...WTF it's very corrupt...
