For fuckin real it is a head spinner isn't it?? I know someone that has an extremely rare disease infact I can not remeber the name of it but I do know that the dude is in so much pain at times he literary screams if water touches his skin. He says it is like standing in a pit of fire, he gets these huge blisters on his shins and has to walk with a cane (when he CAN walk) well he gets methodone and oxy's and he gives himself a shot of morophine when nothing eles will help. He had to go to e.r. because he didnt have the money to get his meds that day and the E.R. doc straight up called him a drug addict and refused to see him????? Well it is an extreme case I know, but he did get fired (Meaning the extreme part is doc gettin canned)

missunderstood, I am in enough pain for the doctor to justify giving me all those pills I suppose..it is pretty wacky. It just depends where you go.

It is extremely fucked up that that happened to your friend. I was gonna say "I can't believe that," but sadly I can. I don't know what to tell you for your friend other than go somewhere else.

I know a guy who broke something in his back and didn't even know it; it was "sort of bothering him" so he went to the doc. and next thing you know he gets something like Fentanyl lollipops, 4 mg Dilaudids, Xanax, 10 mg oxymorphone, and a few other things. He milks that shit for all he can.

Well I am sorry to hear you are in pain always that has got to suck. Is it a permanent condition? Is this a lifetime of medication deal for you? I hope i don't sound too noisy?I wish you luck.<3

daily:
600mg of seroquel at night for sleep
60mg of cymbalta for depression
28mg subutex

Holly pharmacy batman...600mg seroquel. I would sleep for a year....damn..are you dizzy in the morning? I took seroquel one time for H withdraw I believe it was 50 mg and I was wiped the fuck out..Haha I could not fathom 600 mg ...I am in no way being sarcastic either. I love this thread it is full of wonderment....I wonder what the world will be like in the future. Will we all just be OVER medicated? Or will the government step ALL THE WAY IN and create havoc? Because if the government gets control there will be a cival war by the looks of the medication that people are givin. 8o:\8o=D

Hydrocodone 10/500
firocoet 325
seroquel 200
klonopoin .5
Lyrica 150
neurontin 300 (same drug as lyrica but I take both)
and I also take lithium and topamax daily

O.K., but how many a day for each medication that is the question. You are a mild case. Check out the other therapeutic routes these fuckin docs are givin out wtf are they thinkin???? ;)

Currently:

70mg methadone daily
75mg seroquel 3x a day
10mg zolpidem (ambien) 1x at night
600mg Gabapentin (Neurontin) 3x day

Currently am off of the benzos though, and doing ok.

Just two:

(60mnth) Suboxone 8mg x2 daily - However, I take less then 5mg daily.

(60mnth) Xanax .5mg as needed - Believe me, those are indeed taken as needed ;)

Klonopin .5 2x a day for anxiety/sleep

used to be 1mg ativan 2x a day.

Klonopin isn't the most effective, wish i didn't switch. Is it reasonable to ask for some ativan for really nerving moments while scripted kpins?

This is just completely f'd. It has taken me a long time to find a doctor who will sit and listen to me instead of hearing key words and jumping to a diagnosis or pretending they didn't hear me. There are too many asshole doctors out there that should have their licenses revoked. Glad this one got fired.

Deez1234 No you did not waste anyones time...and I understand how you would take what he gives you...why not..it is a plus if you can control yourself and maybe stock pile them just incase he does get investigated for some reason..ya never know he just may write that out for someone that hasn't a clue how deadly shit can be...but good luck with this...be careful.Hope to see your posts around in the near future...

I feel like this doctor just considers me an exception for no apparent reason. It is a weird feeling cause everytime I go, I walk out feeling really awkward and confused. Even his nurses joke about how he doesn't even know what he just wrote people and I think sometimes they wonder if he even checks for the interaction between the drugs he prescribes. He is a pain management doctor as well so I feel like he just throws around his power to make people satisfied, which doesn't bother me...but it just doesn't make any sense. Apparently he is a highly recognized doctor and I don't see him really getting in trouble to be honest. I just find it weird that there has been issues with the DEA. They apparently don't know what to look for I suppose.
