I know 'we're' gonna miss it but get madcat the fuck out of mainstream so they can get back to something that suits the mentality.

All things being equal, then probably... but there are so many variables when driving, to take one thing and virtually blame it solely on that is 'bad science' IMO.
 
driving while on meph seems it would be every bit as bad as driving drunk, both inexcusable, he was a prick for getting in the car wrecked in the first place

A first rate article, why oh why can't our national newspapers try and be more balanced and objective when reporting on things other than those of left/right political bias?
I wonder if reporters of the Sun or the Mail ever come on the likes of Bluelight and see what the people at the business end of substance use/abuse have to say?
I personally find this site highly educational and knowledgeable on drugs across the whole board, and not just, say, the current villain of the peace - Methedrone.

I read a 2 page spread in the Sun the other day, some reporter had gone in to some club in ...Manchester I think..claimed just about everyone was on Methedrone and almost all of his observations were way off track...people huddled in a corner spaced out (K'd out more like)...some guy snorting it openly off the bar...(clubs I go in the bouncers would take you outside, beat the fuck out of you, confiscate your stash (to sell or use later) and bid you goodnight....and for fucks sake, any copper seeing the same thing would ave' you away on yer toes pronto like...."It's just Methedrone guv, honest!"
"Yeah, and I'm the Easter Bunny." Says Plod.
"Ooh, is that why your hat's so big, to fit yer ears in?" Giggles Muppet.
Screams fill the club as tasered twat gets his hands handcuffed behind his back and is dragged off for a contemplative few hours in the cells....

Anyone have an experience with reasonably low dose mephedrone?

I'm going to a party on the weekend and i'm thinking about maybe trying 75mg-100mg orally, then maybe re-dose the same 2 hours later. I'm only looking for a subtle mood lift and the openess to chat like mad to randoms!

I've only used mephedrone a handful of times but always get consistant bad comedowns straight after the peak where my mood turns to sudden depression (strange considering many people report no immediate comedown from mephedrone yet they do with mdma which i don't seem to get). The last time i used i took the mephedrone orally and it certainly made this less a problem but it was still present.

Does anyone have any views on this?
Do you think this will make for a much easier comedown?
Will a low dose still provide a nice chatty effect?

I've taken 60mg mephedrone orally mixed in with a drink (alcoholic), and the effect is very pleasant - I felt the lift of the mephedrone but in a nice subtle way. Didn't try a redose on that occasion.

I tried the same thing a few weeks later, this time after several drinks, and the effect wasn't as noticable, swamped by the drink I guess. I later plugged 120mg and this kicked in over the top of the drink. Later, as I came down off the mephedrone I just reverted to feeling tipsy. But keep in mind that we aren't talking about huge amounts of drink or meph here.

I've only ever taken Mephedrone orally or plugged, so I've no other ROAs to compare it to, but have never had a problem with comedowns. But I very rarely redose, and have never taken total consumed over 250mg, so not your typical user it would seem.
 
^ Maybe meph is just not for you. I get a bit of energy, some mood lift and maybe some talkativeness from low dose meph but euphoria remains elusive on such low doses (around 100mg orally). Never had any comedown from meph. Yet at the same time, it always felt dirty and rough.

I agree, euphoria is absent from lower doses, but I typically plug 120mg, find it very euphoric. I try not to take Meph too much having read the threads over in ADD, but to be honest I love the stuff more than I should. If I hadn't been scared silly with cautionary tales of toxicity I'd probably be a quivery blob of mephed-out jelly by now! Even as it was, my first couple of months of using it I found it very hard to stick to my own usage rules. (No more than once every couple of weeks, no more than 250mg per session.)

BTW plugging a certain dose is not the same as taking the same dose orally because the bio-availability is supposed to be higher (allegedly due to some first-pass metabolism bypass), but first and foremost, IMHO, because it hits you much faster and harder than any other ROAs (didn't try IV or IM though). Plugging it gives me some kind of rush that I don't get when taking it orally. Just like crystal meth gives you a rush when smoked but not when it's taken orally.

So yes, I am not surprised that 120mg can give you a good euphoria when plugged, but much less so if taken orally, esp. on a non-empty stomach.
 
Mephedrone on Jeremy Kyle, "its a plant fertiliser, why would anyone want to take that?" lol twat. Are people really that stupid, its blatantly obvious that its never been anything to do with plants, its just a way of getting around the law.

Calling it methedrone now too, then says "this show today is all about information"...
 
Indeed, I am getting the urge to reach through the television and give him a slap, such a simple minded and polarised view on drugs. The people on are blaming the fact that its legal, they might not have taken it if it were illegal and all that...

Somehow making it illegal is going to stop people taking it, yeah sure.

You should listen to PMQ time from wednesday of this week. At about 12.18pm (maybe 12.21) Gordon Brown addresses the subject thus.

I don't understand how people can get the pronunciation wrong, a 15 second google search immediately gives all the correct information. Ill check out PMQ for more enraging examples of utter ignorance.
 
Personally i thought low dose meph gave an awkward comeup feeling and no good effects when snorted. But it was from a batch years ago that i was not completely sure about it.
