nice one. don't expect too much from kanzyani though. I love his old stuff, but he has gone all bleep bloop minimal.

So did umek, but this is an OLDies goldies event :) no new music (i think at least pre2004 to qualify) that day!

Oh and by the way, tech-house is the new minimal, you'll see...

Yo. I read this thread and thought I'd sign up.

I listen to;

Ellen Allien, Gaiser, James Ruskin, Chris Liebing, Surgeon, Redshape, Len Faki, Robert Hood, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Underground Resistance and some softer more melodic stuff like James Holden, Nathan Fake, Fairmont, Telefon Tel Aviv, Autechre, Aphex...

At the moment I'm loving these tracks;

Lutzenkirchen... there's another one on the list of must sees. DJ set or live? too bad beyer sucks so much now. He was my favourite dj AND favourite producer for 4-5 years. not feeling his current stuff at all. I think his last decent release was almost a year ago now, and the last 2-3 times I have seen him dj have been kind of lackluster

I saw Adam Beyer at the Warehouse Project in Manchester a few months ago and he was wackkk I was really disappointed. I haven't actually heard Lutzenkirchen, I'll have a listen before I go and it says live set on the website. The ticket is only 35 euros, flying to Amsterdam on Thursday, hopefully get hold of some good pills.

Lutzenkirchen is pure minimal too :D
Seen him in july... he's a good DJ with boring music.

I'm looking forward of seeing frequency 7 (sims & surgeon) and Luke Slater next month though!

I saw Surgeon at Sankeys with Chris Liebing in Manchester last year and it was absolutely insane, not many places willing to put on hard techno nights round here any more. Everything's going tech house, it's really shit.

yeah, gaiser's the shit. he's the only minimal artist I still follow. i've only seen him once at demf, and it was like 2 in the afternoon and I was really hung over. he was incredible though. his tracks so SO much better on a big sound system

Yeah I saw Gaiser and Heartthrob about a year ago and it was an amazing night, you're right about the soundsystem too, it takes the music to another level.

Have you heard this Heartthrob track it's a brilliant minimal track although i don't listen to him much.

thursday night and saturday night in nyc....

are gonna be good.

why does no one like mhonolink? and why is dubstep bad? all of this stuff in pure form is beautiful.

what is the MOST MINIMAL techno though? i wonder.....
how minimal it can get.
