Unfortunately I haven't been able to see the Atlanta skyline with my own eyes, never made it that far west into Georgia :( I imagine it to be beautiful. First time I drove through Chicago I was in love too. Closest thing to NYC I've seen.

the dope thing about chicago is we have lots of differnt expressways that lead into the city and each offers a differnt view of the skyline...

my favorite is i55north to lake shore drive north, you get to see see the southern/western part on the skyline then it wraps you around to the east side and you drive past soldier field and mccormick place and then on the left buckingham fountian and millenium park and then on the right you have the field museum and the shedd, you got the the lake with navy pier..i take a high ride once a week down there just to cruise and chill smoke a blunt look at the lights..it never gets old...im talking like 11-12 at night when theres no traffic and you can just chill

Yea there aint alot of times in the city out here when nobody is out.....Its always traffic sometimes more than others but its rare to see a empty highway goin into new york...Aanyways tho, that soundss nice yo, i use to do that alot when i could still smoke...Roll up a nice L of piff and be noddin on some of that jersey fire, One of my fav. drives in Jersey involved some walkin too....

I use to spark up my L ridin down Route 80, so i could drive over Paterson and look at the city from up high at night, then follow it down to ex.60 where it splits off w/rt 20 n 46. got on 46 on West, get onto 21 n ride it into Passaic, go down til route 3 and get off at ridge rd in Lyndhurst, follow it down a mile or so to kingsland ave , or a few blocks around that area is good cuz most of the cross st's with ridge rd goes down a big hill. if u go on any of them u can sit at the top of where the hill drops off n u just see the whole line of the city skyline at night shit looks beautiful, cuz the sky is so wide its like ur surrounded by all these lil houses and trees n stuff but where the hill drops off u just see the whole skyline wide as a beach, u kno, just wide open. I use to love to park there , do a shot in the car, and just walk up and down the block smokin a L, lookin at the lights , feelin so good...shit ive spent hours jus starin at the city all lit up imagineing gettin out of here , u kno?

Anyways after that if i want to smoke more I would take route 3, drive up n down it if i felt like makin the trip longer, hit up Rutts Hut which is right above the highway, so u can sit in the parkin lot and watch the cars drivin by below u and look out over the whole road and city if its a clear night...I liked to do a lil booster shot there alot of the time it was a good view to nod at. if u take 3 all the way down it goes to 495 n kennedy blvd , take u down to C, hoboken, n all that but i like to turn around there n get back on 3 west so i can stop at the ticktock diner if i got the dough.

Iunno, the whole area, route 80, 21, route 3, route 46, all of them if u drive on certain spots are a good loop to take for a blunt ride at night theres alot of things u can enjoy. Ima post some pics, lets see who recognizes teh spots and for our non jersey lurker chinky so u get some idea wat im talkin about...

Paterson skyline (night & day), view from route 80. Also included a google map screen cap cuz even tho its shitty quality, it gives a better feeling of how it really looks when ur drivin along the highway, cuz these real nice professional style pics dont really pick up how it really looks, they look so neat n nice n dont give u the vibe of how it feels to look over the city or show the not as pretty shit..I mean they are just of the nice buildings at the center of down town, and 90% of the city dont look like that, so i ifgured i would include a more realistic view too , show both sides not just the bad or the good. :)

Heres a daytime view of one of my "spots" in lyndhurst, shitty quality pic but it give u a idea of the feeling of how open the sky is at the top of the hill there, and also a pic of wat it looks like from that same spot pretty much (maybe a block or 2 over) at night...Ive watched those towers lights blink many nights...
if u click on the first pic u can see it bigger

yeah lace thats sounds nice...like i said we have been doing this since ive been able to drive so almost 10years and its just the shit..i think you would be impressed with what chicago has to offer as far as the skyline/highride route...

like i said theres so many differnt hughways that you could take 290 into the city and have a whole differnt view that you dont get from coming down i55...but i can honestly say ive never gotton sick of the orginal route that i mentioned in the first post..

Ah those photos bring good memories Lacey. I got a bunch, but I can't get them up for some reason here in the thread.

I was born in northeast Pennsylvania, but I was also born in 1965. Nice to see some mature Bluelighters on here.

I have been to Wilmington a couple times for conventions. I thought that if it wasn't the asshole of the world it was definitely within farting distance, but maybe I was just in the wrong part of town. Still, if I were in Wilmington I'd definitely be missing New Jersey. :)

Born in Morris County and spent my first 4 yrs there but grew up in NY. im a NYer but got love for everything about Jersey (well, northern jersey--southern is like a seperate state to me)
