I was hanging with some just outside of Philly kids this weekend.

The way it really works is North Jersey reps NYC and South Jersey reps Philly and if you live past let's say Asbury Park on the shore, then your probably reppin Philly too. With that said, fuck South Jersey and Philly. ;-)
 
Psssh, draw a line from keanburg and cut NJ in half. That's where i consider the cutoff at. South Jersey is beat street. All there major cities have shit drugs ( Trenton , asbury, atlantic city, fuck it, even Camden) and if your not a user of drugs, theres still nothing to do down there. Oh, maybe in the summer if you like..... swimming or fishing in the ocean. That's about it.

In all of north jerz, there is SOME country areas. It definately aint all country outside the cities. Even the areas that is "country" in north jerz, is still more city than most of the places in south jerz. For real, get outta here with that....its majority built up, urban, city, watever u wanna call it, and there is definately some mountains and all that with the ski resorts all the way up top of the state by the NY border...But thats like one county worth of country. And like i said, that county is more built up than yalls average land down there anyways, real talk i been down to those crazy areas and shit is straight up country, makes any north jerz country look like the hood, shit.

i wouldnt say south jersey is any worse than the rest of the shit hole (save for the beach, the beach aint bad at all)

That's what I meant anyway. I'm torn between the two though personally. I was born in NYC, but raised in Jersey over the river. I love Jersey to death. And I know people from NYC trash Jersey and vice versa but fuck em. I love NYC for the city. Always a 5 mins ride away and I spent many a night when I was a teenager partying and exploring NYC. But I rep Jersey to death. With that said, I'd rather associate myself with NYC than Philly.
 
O hell yea, I really dont get into sports much but i always watch hockey cuz the devils kick ass....I was pissed the fuck off when they lost that game halfwy thru the playoffs to the flyers, i swear that ref got paid off to not call penalties on the flyers , they straight robbed them of that game.

I was readin that elias kowalchuk or however the fuck u spell his name got signed on with the devils again for 15 yr contract, Im glad they get to keep him , he a badass player.

LOL talkin about hockey, now that aint some shit yall would expect from me I know but I like the fights and it started growin on me :D

Anyways, i never been to the Newark stadium only games i ever been to was when a family friend took me to one as a lil kid in the Meadowlands...I was sad that they moved, but i guess Newark is a more official kinda place to be playin out of. Badass team badass city.

yesterday i was down at jersey gardens and I took the long way thru Newark on the way home. I was just cruisin thru without no particular plan just takin a round about way back to the highway cuz i like the back roads and I passed by Seth Boyden and BT and all that ....mad newark cops just sittin parked watchin on the side streets. It felt so weird to be drivin by , RIGHT BY the dope spot so casual and see a cop and have him look right at me, and not even give it a second thought...didnt follow me, and i wasnt shook..it was just so weird, i remember when i was usin, if i was doin so much as drivin on ROUTE 80 or 20, outside paterson, which is main, major roads that anybody could be drivin on, if i got stopped, the cops just knew i had been coppin and fucked with me and it was trouble. Like if i was drivin on 80 and got stoped for anything i knew that as soon as they took a look at me they would search me and Id get fucked. And nevermind drivin thru the actual city of paterson. if i was holdin shit, i would purposely go out of my way to take the long way around the city, go thru fair lawn or some shit or go thru clifton on the other side, just to avoid bein IN paterson city limits becuz just seein me cruisin around there would be trouble for any cop. So i cany even imagine how it woulda been , if i had been just casually drivin thru the projects, or thru the 4th ward, u feel me.

But here i was just drivin thru the bricks, takin the long-way tour of like every major project in the city, just cruisin right the fuck thru em, like 4 feet away from the coppin if i had wanted to, by all the most notorious never-fail whitekid dope hangouts and the cop there aint even blink when he saw me. Its so weird how u get like "dopehead magnet vibes" that draw the cops to you when you coppin and usin, but once you stop, even tho you in a area that any white dopehead would get stopped and swarmed with cops immediately, somehow they just know that you aint doin nothin wrong and leave u alone its the weirdest thing.
