Heroin - Experienced - Winter In Chicago

Nintey, awesome writing, your words had me on the west side. I agree whole heartedly that the whole process of copping is almost addictive as using. I really loved reading that, and I guess being from Chicago too, it seemed so real. I am really glad to hear you are sober. I have been off for a month now, and sometimes I really miss the rush and satisfaction of a successful score. Going to the hood is like a gratifying game of cat and mouse to me. When I can drive in to the city, pass a dozen cops on the way to the spot, see cops at the spot, and still get out with product in hand, is/was very rewarding to my sick mind. Thanks for your writing, it rocked. Keep up the good work dude.

Yeah this had me seeing myself walk down a certain street on the south side in the cold, boots cracking the ice that always formed in thin sheets under the viaduct,. Two blocks straight then a right then a left then right into an alley, then turn around. Sometimes a cop would be sitting on his block so I would have to walk like four blocks the wrong way just to loop back. But it was worth it for my fix and the added thrill of knowing you just copped about fifty feet from a cop. Wonderful report man. Haunting.

good read, well written
and scary

i don't know much about H, and this is about all i wanna know :)

Last time I checked smartguy, methadone was legal for opiate maintenance and could be obtained legally with a prescription from a doctor, or a clinic. :)

The law has fuck all to do with it - after all, cannabis in in a higher class than ketamine in the UK. What the hell's that about? I'll tell you - they've no idea about what should be legal and what shouldn't!
The adverts say this Bud's for you... but never, ever, EVER take heroin.

Which kills more?

she phoenix, i think you need to look at the ratio of people that do heroin and die, to people that drink and die. Its commonly know that alcohol kills much more people than any other drug a year, including the deaths related drinking and driving and i think it is a shitty drug. But over all i think heroin has a much worse impact on your life usually then alcohol does for most people. Lets face it drugs are not really a positive life course in general for the most part.

Wow...I gotta say dude you have a skill for describing the scene...almost saw it in my head...really, you should use that skill to write maybe a book or something...most people; or atleast most books, hardly even describe the scenery and feeling that well. Great though dude.

Yeah I guess so, but it just irritates me how blind they are: they advertise alcohol on the television, blaring it in your face and even even calling you a boring party pooper if you don't drink, but substances are a no go zone...
(p.s. as soon as I clicked 'submit reply' I thought about the ratios you mentioned, and fair enough I'm not fighting you - you're right there).

I guess I just fancied a bit of a rant, it's nice to vent once in a while. :)

Very very VERY well written...and Im going to bet you really didnt even spend that much time on it. Even before I read other people's comments I thought this guy should write a book, or try to get published. Then I read everyone else saying the same thing, and well, thats saying SOMETHING man.

wow, yeah i have to cop in a similar neighborhood. i am also white as snow. i even do the "hide my face with the visor" thing, but i don't think it works! always feels good when you are "home-free" though!

Brings back all the memories of crazy shit I can't believe I did. And winter is fast approaching. I've lived in Chicago for years and still can't get used to how long it lasts.
