OPIOD FIENDs hate ALCOHOL??

not at all... i've always loved the taste of beer, tequila, and ESPECIALLY whiskey; and until recently, i loved the effects, too.

still love the taste, just hate the effects now.
 
I didn't drink for 22 years until 4 months ago when I started to teeter down off opiates, and I believe it has helped me some. It helped me to relax in the evenings.

Although this is probably not in any of the 12 step programs. :D

Point is I like the combo if I'm just hanging out, but if if I'm doing something that I need to use physical energy for. I I'll just stick with the opiates.
 
i just weight out the price of product sometimes. 20$ with my tolerance will get me a one time use amount of tar, i'll probably need more. on the other hand, 20$ can also buy me a bottle of jack daniels that'll last for days. sometimes, i'll just throw down money for booze because its more economical in the end.

suboxone maintenance is a bitch.
 
alcohol is great when used to mediate the excess side effect profiles from hard stimulants in a club setting, or one beer with dinner and dessert. very usefull for regulating ones need for personal space in an environment that doesn't allow sufficient space. probably because drunks will often tolerate any condition.

used to enhance the dinning experience alcohol comes into its own, on a par with weed

i would take smoked opium anyday over beer if the purpose was to get high and lie about the house. for sociallising opium is ok but doesn't really add much.
 
Around 12 years or so go (age 15 then I guess) I used to really enjoy a few beers with like a couple perocets or something but once I got a full on H habit, the alcohol just didn't work the same and didn't help the high at all, it actually just clouded it too much and made it a waste of good H.

I'm not quite sure why this is. Now after I got on Methadone I started to drink around a 6pack a day or so. It really picked up when I got on Methadone since I stopped getting any sort of high from it, benzos, crack, and beer are really all that are enjoyable while on the methadone, for me at least.

Of course I am clean of all Opiates right now and I tried to drink a few beers this weekend but it just made me feel dysphoric and didn't taste as good as I remembered. I was mainly trying to get a little euphoria out of the benzos I had around but nothing goes well with them other then opiates from my experience.

I'm bummed out about that.
 
As an opiate "fiend" (or was, since I'm on the subs), I really don't like alcohol. I will drink a six pack when I'm out of benzos just to relax on a friday or saturday night, but it's most definitely last resort. I don't like it anymore. Once I found benzos (my first drug), I realized I could feel nice and relaxed and have no anxiety and NO hangover! It was like a miracle drug for me. You can forget liquor. I'll overdo it, black out and end up doing some really mean, stupid shit.
 
I'll tell ya though when your down to your little bit of dope.

You can stretch it out quite a bit if you drink with it. I know its dangerous and I've OD'd that way before. I can take that little chunk that would normally just get me warm, add a few shots efullof bourbon and nod out real hard.

Just be carefull and add the booze to the heroin VERY SLOWLY. Not the other way around.

If your drunk first and take a shot who knows what could happen. Just take your shot and sip slow until you feel close to where you want to be then STOP because theres some still catching up in you.

It's just a bad idea! I used to do it, but now I read all these medical articles on the internet and I realize how bad of an idea it is. Don't mix slowly, don't mixt at all!
 
I'm drunk and I snorted a few bags

It helps get me higher but I have a serious alcohol tolerance

If I didn't I wouldn't mix it with heroin

It's very easy to OD

Snort a few bags of baltimore dope and you'd be fallin out. Shit is pro and good to go. Like 60 or 70 percent pure.

Five dollars worth will give a newbie a nod. Ten dollars worth puts a veterans dick in the dirt. Stuff is no joke around here man. Be safe my negroes
 
We have slamming dope in jersey , I'm just a beast =D

our heroin is sometime 80 - 90 percent , hella potent

I just like to do a lot , If I only do one or two I dont enjoy it

It just makes me crave more

for about 365 days straight, i mixed alcohol and heroin/oxy/suboxone and never had any problems... it really is a safe combo if you do it responsibly... the problem is most people can't do that, especially when it comes to alcohol and their judgment goes flying out the window.

Also, I'm fairly sure booze+methadone is worse than booze+dope, because of the long half-life of 'done, and the fact that it will build up in your system, leading to greater respiratory depression than the shorter acting opioids.

then again, like cosmic charlie, i also had a huge tolerance to both opiates and alcohol for the most part... but even in the good ol' days when 30mg of oxy would have me nodding pretty fucking hard, i was always responsible enough to do the opiates first, and drink slowly afterward, and was always fine.

moderation and responsibility are your friends... especially when it comes to alcohol, and extra especially when it comes to mixing downers.

as far as saying that if you snort a few bags of baltimore dope and you'll be "falling out", there's no way you can know that... the dope where he is may be just as good, or even better... his tolerance may just be a hell of a lot higher than yours. there is no ceiling when it comes to opiate tolerance, the sky is the limit... what would be an overdose for you could not even be enough to stave of withdrawals for someone else.


footnote to everyone else: there is nothing i hate more than when people say withdrawling! "Withdrawling" is not a word, even if 90% of people on bluelight do say it... the word you're looking for is "WITHDRAWING", NO "L"!

This is the truth... I used to love ecstasy....Id pop some rolls every weekend for a good two years, then I found opiates... Now my skin trembles with the thought of taking ecstasy. Drinking sucks dick too. Once you get that fucking perfect opiate high everything else just sucks dick except for weed and coke. Coke sucks dick too if you dont have opiates. Opiates AND coke is still bomb as shit, just you know...gotta have the landing gear.

I can't believe you are asking what I have been asking myself ever since I started taking suboxone. I used to love to drink with friends on occations but now since being on only a small dosage of suboxone (4 mgs. per day), I do not like to drink. I have been at weddings and felt so left out. I tried drinking a beer or two but it only made me feel worse. I miss drinking, not that I was a big drinker but like you, I grew up drinking with friends and partying (never did any drugs), but I had a great time. My husband drinks beer and a few times (just last weekend) he had a few too many and I kind of felt left out and because I wasn't drinking, he was kind of annoying. I want to get off of this suboxone but it is very hard. I'd love to hear back from you. I hope this answers some of what you are asking. TC Larsy1566

I feel the same way!!!! I am currently taking suboxone and drinking just makes me feel bad. I miss having a few drinks!!!! Are you taking methadone for a past addiction problem? Maybe methadone blocks the alcohol effects like I believe suboxone does. I'm really not sure, but I can't wait to get off of this suboxone so that I can enjoy a few beers with friends or at weddings like I used to!!!!! Sincerely, Larsy1566
