I IVed Alot of Subutex before Suboxone came out on the market.Damn, I must be blind. Don't know how I missed that one.
Do you iv bupe alone by itself or you mix it with something?
I ived bupe 3 times and definitely there is no rush, but IVing even 1mg will hold me nicely whole day. 2mg seems like my pleasure ammount tho.
What technique you use? Did you ever missed?
I found that it's best to (in absence of micron/wheel filter) to use large gauge needle and stuff it with q-tip cotton, then run some alcohol trough it, then attach it to the syringe with dissolved bupe and squirt it drop by drop in sterile new syringe. It takes lots of time to prepare shot but it's crystal clear.
What are you tips on iving bupe?
(The real difference in Subutex and Suboxone is noticed when IVed in my experience - longer time to get effect and not quite the same feeling)
Anyways.. I have never felt any rush from Bupe IV and neither have anyone i know but if you have absolutely 0 tolerance or are new to opiates/opioids maybe.
(Well, if you're really opiate sick and IV bupe it can feel like kind of a smooth rush-type-feeling when you get instantly fine)
You can mix Subutex/Suboxone with anti-histamines to get a better more sedating effect when IVed. But not every anti-histamine works for this, here's the mega thread for the subject: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=347773&highlight=histamines
Its worth trying a couple of times but it can't be good even if you have a micron filter - well pills aren't good to IV in the first place.
So thats my tip!
I prepared my Subutex like this:
Take a spoon, put the piece of sub/powder on it and add ~0.5-1-1½ml of water (I used Insuline-syringes which came in either 0.5ml or 1ml)
and then stir it up so it all dissolves.
Then some people like to add some heat to the solution, like put the spoon on the stove plate for a short while (You do NOT want it to boil or be anywhere near that because it gets like gel if you do).
Then stir again, it will have cleared up a little (i imagine alot of fillers dissolve) then put in a piece of cotton/q-tip/micron/wheel filter and suck up the solution and shoot away!
I missed shots when i IVed Subutex, did always apply heat to the place where i missed for some time and never had an abscess or anything like that. A little red and swollen but nothing really dangerous - though it CAN be dangerous!
