The action of 5-meo-DMT is not very euphoric in my experience...not dysphoric either...it crushes the ego and makes these categories seem very out of place. DMT leaves the ego in tact and allows the user to experience overwhelming euphoria (but also sometimes terrifying fear if the set/setting is off).

The euphoric part of 5-meo-DMT is coming back into your body/mind once the trip starts to wane. It is the most joyous occassion for me...everytime I do a high dose of it I really do believe I have died and gone away from this world. So, coming back is a flood of euphoria realizing I will still get to see my loved ones and do the things I love to do in life.

If you can't melt it, I would smoke with a regular glass pipe. Just make sure to hold the lighter very far away so that the dmt doesn't get a hot flame, and instead combusts, then melts slowly.

I think the plant matter would go aaaaalll over the place if i tried a base pipe.

I'll be smoking it from a bong as i dont have a pipe, is it worth using a dry bong (ie, regular bong, no water)? I'm keen to breakthrough for my first experience and i'm a little unsure about whether the vaporised dmt will condense on the inside of the bong, using water might cool the smoke too much.

Has anyone else had experience with "Enhanced Leaf" or changa?
 
^I find smoking DMT in a bong as opposed to pipe seems to make the effects take a bit longer to kick in- bong-15 seconds; pipe-instantaneously...

How similar are the effects of dmt and 5-meo-dmt? Is dmt more, rm, euphoric?

Not really similar at all, except for the time-frame. 5-MeO-DMT is a lot harsher on the mind and body then n,n,DMT. A mix of the two is VERY interesting though....

Hmm.. interesting. It is usually pretty instantaneous for me. I tend to load in my dose, pull it all into the chamber and fill my lungs, cover the bong and hold that hit for about 10-15 seconds, and then exhale and clear whatever's left, and usually by the time I am clearing the bong I can barely distinguish reality

Oh thanks :) I really don't find 5-meo-dmt to be my cup of tea, but definitely interested in experiencing dmt. Very happy to hear they're dissimilar. Does dmt smell similar to 5-meo-dmt? That plastic grape smell of 5-meo doesn't bode well...

How close is smoked dmt to oral dmt?
 
As long as you have reasonably pure DMT crystal, I don't think you'll mind the taste, Papa. I find the taste of vaporized DMT to be mildly sweet, actually; and in terms of lung / throat irritation, taking a big rip of DMT isn't much worse than a large hit of smoked cannabis.

If your DMT doesn't look pure enough (dry, white crystals), maybe look into doing a recrystallization.
 
The strangest thing about smoking is how it recrystallizes on the inside of your mouth after taking a big hit. Feels pretty weird.
 
Does it really do that?? Because Ive had some pretty damn strange sensations in my mouth during dmt trips and I just assumed it was an effect of the drug not the actual drug
 
Can you smoke dmt out of a douggy?

I've heard all these weird methods for smoking it, why can't you just hit up the old meth pipe? Seems like it'd be the most efficient, but fuck what do I know?

That's the way that works best for me, you just have to signal and get someone to grab it when you're done, because you will drop it the hot pipe if nobody is there to get it.

You can take a lot in one lungfull if you keep the flame at the right distance, rock the bowl and inhale at the right rate. Heating it from the bottom minimizes burning if you work it the right way. To me it's the best method, but to each their own, I guess.
 
Had my changa last night, I broke though!!! It was pretty damn amazing, very smooth, organic visuals and very bright colours. kinda freaked me out at first but then i just gave myself up to the experience. I had a bunch of phlem in my throat (Made worse by the smoke) and kept trying to clear it, of course i had NO IDEA what that weird noise was during the experience haha

Very much looking forward to my next DMT experience!
 
I'm planning to load up a bong of it tonight in a while... I smoked it last weekend and got the best effects so far, but I plan to break through completely tonight. :)
 
Right now I'm waiting for my hostilis mimosa bark to come right now so I can do extract for the first time and experience the void for the first time. Crazy excited.
I'm having a hard time finding 100% lye for the extracting.
I'm planning on doing this tek.

Yes I realise I can google this. But to be honest, you guys are just so smart and knowledgeable :) please please, some helpful advice?
