He always makes me laugh when he's on Breakfast News over here, making out that anyone having the temerity to want to take a suitcase on holiday with them deserves to paid £20 to put it in the hold (each way)!! I also liked it when he suggests that instead of paying to take stuff like hairdryers on holiday with you, you just buy one when you arrive and then thro wit away when you leave!!!

Still, he's as rich as i would like to be...so you can't know that!!!

Jealous of your trip.....being in Cyprus last week made me want to go away.....11 hours is still long though!

aye maybe so, but won't someone think about the carbon footprint? we used to keep it at a manageable size thanks to poor people not being able to afford it, but now we have planeloads of paddies flying all over the place, fucking up the planet. ;)

Too true. It also leads to even more fucking "genuine" Irish bars all over the globe.

there's 70 million of us fuckers worldwide and most of us were taking forgieners money with the diddily-eye-o irish paddy bullshit concept long before ryanair came about ;)

Plenty of time. As long as the flight from Ireland isn't delayed it's no problem.
 
yeah well its not very heartening that i checked flightstats website and the particular flight im on has a 40% on time rating, on average.

that combined with paris cdg being closed yesterday due to weather and delays today doesnt exactly helpt settle nerves... fuck it anyway, i am sure everything will work out!

the flight to rio that we are getting is statistically always delayed too so that cancels that out a bit

anyway, no point worrying too much bout it now, just packing my factor 15 and shorts now!! =D
 
If you miss it they put you on the next one and you get a free night in a hotel. It's not ideal but it's not the end of the world.

yes, but even the oil companies encourage the responsible use of our dwindling oil reserves - we have the entire chinese manufacturing base to supply, as well as the more important customers like BRITISH Airways. %)
 
Right guys well i best be off. Have my passport and my yellow fever immunisation card and I am off to the airport with a fully loaded mp3 player, few magazines and enuff money to get drunk on the plane.

I'm going to Galway at the end of the month for a weekend with a few other people. Also been invited to Tenerife the same week and would not mind some fucking sunlight for a change.
 
Took my automatic bike back and got me a nice manual one, cheaper too :)

So fun cruising around when fuel is only 20 bhat a litre.
 
Didn't fall off once. Had problems with constantly stalling it within the first 5 minutes of getting on the bike, but only when it was about 4am and time to leave the whisky alone.
 
But he's rode round on his BMX a few times in a carpark back home mate...you don't fuckin expect him to learn to ride properly do you? FFS he's only driving on some of the craziest roads in the world (and possibly drunk if his last comment about whisky is anything to go by) what's the problem? :|

An accident WILL happen. I'm putting money on it. :\

edde: i know it's a waste of fucking time giving you advice on anything, but here goes, one last time: at low speeds, give it more revs than you think it needs, let the clutch out slowly, and use the rear brake to regulate your speed, not the throttle.

easier said than done of course... but you would know that if you'd had any training whatsoever.

..and don't drive drunk. It's stupid, and the Thai police can be fuckers if they want to. Trust me on that one.
