How do you guys feel about Soma?

I freaking LOVE soma's. I have been on mmt for almost 2 years and the wonderfull things are the only thing I can catch a buzz on. just taking benzos does nothingfor me since I have been prescribed then for 9 years now but everytime I throw soma into the mix I get a full on nod

Umm yes they are. Benzo's have 6 key properties: hypnotic, sedative, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant and amnesic properties.

well i think he's right, they are probably all muscle relaxing to some degree. but what i meant was that some benzos do a lot more than others and some are used medically as muscle relaxants while some aren't. all i was saying was that even benzos which aren't used medically as muscle relaxants seem to do a better job relaxing my muscles than soma.

To Mr Blonde: Soma is legal to import into Australia because it isn't scheduled here right? So it's the whole 3 month supply thing for personal use?

I think that's the case. I'll check that it isn't being scheduled in the near future, or that meprobamate isn't scheduled (therefore making soma an analog)
 
^ I'll try and check as well; I remember once reading a list of scheduled substances or a list of substances and their import restrictions once, but I'm unable to find it on the TGA website; I've sent an email through their contact section asking if they have a link to any database of scheduled substances or a compilation of that information, cause that would be a big help. =D

I love some man especially with an opiate shit h and soma will put me in a soma coma CHYEAH!

It adds more warmth and coziness to an opiate high (especially, I've found: hydrocodone, morphine, hydromorphone, or codeine when things are rough), with benzodiazepines it increases the muscle-relaxant effect of some (diazepam, etc), a wobbly-drunk feeling to others (alprazolam, clonazepam), but with the hypnotics (temazepam, halcion) it typically just makes me pass out really fast.

Believe it or not, I like taking it with my Desoxyn or Dexedrine as it takes the edge off in a way similar to how benzos do, but the muscle-relaxant effects make for no jaw-clenching and sore muscles. Same can be said for hallucinogens (mostly LSD, 2C-Xs, and DOxs), but only if you take a single 350mg dose. Otherwise it can mute the visuals and "dumb" down the trip.

Needless to say, I like the stuff.

You are prescribed Desoxyn and Dexedrine? Awesome! I am on Dexedrine/Vyvanse. I used to be on Adderall for a couple of years and when I started dex/Vyvanse it took a lot of getting use to the loss of racemic amphetamine(not as speedy). Is the Desoxyn helping you? I would love to switch to methamphetamine because I hear that it is long lasting and requires only 5-20mgs per day to be therapeudic.=D

I used to get Soma years ago and I felt really warm and fuzzy on 2-3 of them (sorry,can't remember how many mgs per pill) I made the mistake of drinking a six-pack of beer one day and took three Soma's(got so sick..).

i used soma once and it was great and guys im bout to do it again jus got 4(350) somas i took my 12 mg of sub at 11am its 230pm time for 3 somas thats a good dose right? for rec
 
somas are not the best drug to get a euphoric feeling from, but if your tense, they can loosen the bolts... And they can loosen them pretty well... I have seen a couple friends take 10 or so and be completly worthless, unable to move, but conscious. Use moderation, and they are a nice tool.
 
I'm not much for downers in general, but I've had nothing but excellent experiences taking Soma at the very end of my day to help me unwind and sleep. My sleep schedule perpetually out of wack and my body doesn't necessarily like to play along. Also, stimulants like methylone and psychedelics like the 2Cs leave me wired for ages, but Soma helps me get some rest. Wouldn't recommend it with alcohol, or at the very least keep in mind that a tiny bit goes a long way.

I agree, although sosme benzos do no relaz muscles at all
 
I have a bunch of these but it takes a good amount(1750mgs) to get a lift. IS that a dangerous amount or am I good? I'm taking them by themselves.

I'm getting some percocets tomorrow, do soma's have any potential when used with them?
