How do you guys feel about Soma?

I could not get by w/o my Soma! The best out there for muscle spasms and also anti-anxiety!!

I haven't come across soma in about 3 years, but it was one of my favorite substances at the time. Great for pain, worked even better than hydrocodone for me. (however the combo of the two is THE BOMB)

thanks for the link monstanoodle, i'll merge this thread into there.

jamaica, just remember to try the search function next time, i think there are quite a few soma threads popping around these parts

soma is underrated. great stuff. meant to be mixed. nothing has a worse effect on my coordination though.

What is a good recreational dose of Soma for a beginner? 350 mg. is a nice, floaty feeling. How much further can it be safely pushed?

I'm trying to ween away from my use of Oxycodone as I have began to get a little out of hand with it again and do not wish to go down that path again, so I recentley came across 30 of the 350 mg Soma. I did theese twice with the first time producing a feeling of moderate euphora, intoxication, and a heavy feeling. The second time I just felt intoxicated/depressed and then I passed out. The first time was great though felt like I had taken a few vicodin and maybe had a few beers too. But around here it seems people that have tried them either say they love them or they say they just make then pass the fuck out. How do you guys feel about Carispodol?

stay strong man. that shit is bad. my bro got into trouble with it and now he has to get kicked out of the house. i tryed that stuff and it was way to addicting. carispodol is alright high i guess. pop two and feel rubbery

I actually joined so I could post in this thread. I am on 1050mg of soma, and I have to say, it is awesome. This is my first time taking soma, and I am currently very, very out of it. In a good way. It feels like a moderate dose of oxycodone, which I use quite frequently. It kicks in around 30 minutes after you take it, and it rises slowly until it hits you. Man, does it hit you. I'm having a hard time walking and typing. So, for anyone doing any research on soma, it is awesome. Smoking a cigarette felt especially nice. I noticed that my sense of time is distorted. Usually, when I smoke a cigarette, I take my time and it goes by slowly. But, when I smoked one, it felt like I had just started it when I was finished. Also, hello Bluelight! :) You have given me so much useful information on any psychoactive I have tried.

EDIT: The effects seem to be rather short-lived, and they make me sleepy.

Is carisoprodol body mass dependent? I mean, if you're a big guy (like me, 1.90 cm, 90 kg) do you have to take more? I ask this because I simply don't feel much from soma. I do use a Indian generic, so that may be a factor too. But I have to take at least 4-5 350mgs to feel anything, and that just seems wrong.

It's quite likely yea. It's true for many drugs. Do you have a tolerance to any other GABA-related drugs?

Yes, I do have a tolerance to benzos, but nothing major. I don't take recreational doses. I drink alcohol once in a while, and it takes a lot for me to get loaded too. It may be a cross-tolerance issue, or a body mass issue, or more likely, both.

Shouldn't discount the generic factor either. The brand I have is very ... cheap-looking. I may have to try name brand, or maybe another muscle relaxant.

For God's sake, 10 mg of diazepam relaxes my muscles better than the soma pills I have...

I like Somas great euphoria nice relaxed feeling. I like them with with some good bud personally but alone or with hydrocodone they are good.

Well Diazepam is a very good and potent (on a mg for mg basis compared to Carisoprodol) muscle relaxant.
But yes, some generic medications made in a universe far, far away (in the east hehe) can sometimes contain less of the active ingredient than some branded meds.
