How do you guys feel about Soma?

I'm trying to ween away from my use of Oxycodone as I have began to get a little out of hand with it again and do not wish to go down that path again, so I recentley came across 30 of the 350 mg Soma. I did theese twice with the first time producing a feeling of moderate euphora, intoxication, and a heavy feeling. The second time I just felt intoxicated/depressed and then I passed out. The first time was great though felt like I had taken a few vicodin and maybe had a few beers too. But around here it seems people that have tried them either say they love them or they say they just make then pass the fuck out. How do you guys feel about Carispodol?
 
take with vicoden at same time and stay away from drinkin.... I always take on empty stomach then eat after taking.... really good
 
for me it works great as a muscle relaxant, but i find it kinda boring when i use them for recreational purposes, i also find that it doesn't last a long time, they are kind of otc here so i always have a box on hand and use it once in a while
 
Would about 100 mgs of tramadol and 700 mgs of my Soma make for a very light but nice relaxing buzz? Or is there any danger to this combo?
 
Potentially too much sedation, but it's not a strong risk.

I dunno why you wanna mix those two, though. Soma is such a wonderful drug on it's own. It's also heavenly when mixed with *real* mu-agonists.
 
Yeah... Well right now I am trying to stay away from Oxy and Hydro just because I dont want to get out of hand again... I was thinking its a pretty low dose of each substance and I think i'd be ok but I cant really be sure..
 
Soma goes well with just about anything, I've found. It adds more warmth and coziness to an opiate high (especially, I've found: hydrocodone, morphine, hydromorphone, or codeine when things are rough), with benzodiazepines it increases the muscle-relaxant effect of some (diazepam, etc), a wobbly-drunk feeling to others (alprazolam, clonazepam), but with the hypnotics (temazepam, halcion) it typically just makes me pass out really fast.

Believe it or not, I like taking it with my Desoxyn or Dexedrine as it takes the edge off in a way similar to how benzos do, but the muscle-relaxant effects make for no jaw-clenching and sore muscles. Same can be said for hallucinogens (mostly LSD, 2C-Xs, and DOxs), but only if you take a single 350mg dose. Otherwise it can mute the visuals and "dumb" down the trip.

Needless to say, I like the stuff.

i feel ya on the oxy.... hell I only took MsContin. and never too much..only 1-2 100mg a day... they were fantastic for my back issues..and that left the soma and loratab for good buzz... then I changed doctor... and had quit soma and tabs.. a few months prior...no problem... but the MsContin is only drug I ever took that I had withdraw from... man that sucked...anyway soma are good all around
 
I think soma's great. It's good for pain, good for anxiety. Perfect for taking the edge off a stimulant crash. Good for getting to sleep when I've got insomnia. Good for potentiating opiates. They don't give me any euphoria on their own, but that's ok.

And to top it all off you can get a shitload of them super cheap delivered right to your door in about 45 out of 50 states in less than 24 hours! All I can say is thank you, Soma!
 
^ They certainly beat the pants off of Flexeril, Zanaflex, and Skelaxin...Though they never did anything for me without potentiating the opioid effect. I hadnt thought of using them for taking the edge off of a stim comedown. I was prescribed these when I fractured my cervical spine, and I must admit they did work better for skeletal muscle contractions than the other more popular relaxants did, of course that was probably the Roxicodone talking...
 
I think they're pretty nice, by themselves or in combo's. Actually I'd prefer carisperdol to hydro's
 
Soma is a muscle relaxer that also works on your GABA receptors. It isn't going to directly help you with a physical opiate addiction. If you are physically dependent on oxy then you aren't going to get much relief from soma. It can help with the psychological aspects of withdrawal since it's sedating and is a muscle relaxer. I'm guessing you don't have a big opiate tolerance if you find the buzz you get from soma similar to an opiate high, so you should be ok no matter what you do.
 
how is soma mixed with benzos and what is the overdose risk (assuming you have a benzo tolerance but no soma tolerance).
