Yeah, but it's the Aussie politicians introducing some of the harshest controls in 'the free world', (I mean not blatantly authoritarian regimes,) and not the people as a whole.

I bet most of them are not overly keen on these measures and controls. To say the least.

It was simply a play on words and was meant in the original meaning of 'strange' (which Karmer definitely is).

This is inane even by Reform standards. The last thing we need in these times of extreme political polarisation is allowing the government of the day to purge the civil service of all non-aligned staff each time there’s a general election. Truly an idiotic idea :|

Absolutely not in America we are ruled a by uni party. You have Red and Blue that give you the illusion of choice they all support the same things that actually matter. I stopped voting after Biden got in im ashamed for even voting for him.
 


Happens to be Reform in this instance, but this is an absolute blight on politicians of virtually all stripes.

I honestly think we need to pay politicians much more than they currently get… but the stick side is zero side gigs. No shares, no executive or consulting “jobs” -no nothing aside from their actual job.

Politics is too important to be left to chancers and grifters like Tice.

After talking to a Kurdish woman who came over on a boat a few days ago & had a crossing of 3 days when the Motor of the boat broke & they drifted at the mercy of the Sea to Italy & that was AFTER they had walked several hundred miles then WALKED their arse right across Europe sleeping in bushes, begging for change, eating what they found on the floor etc I say to anyone who wants to vote Reform maybe you go try getting to the Kurdish region before you vote & that goes for Labour nutcases too.

I used to think I had heard tales of hardship, I knew fuck all!!!!!!!

I have hard time feeling sorry for the Kurds they got in bed with devil created their own circumstances.
