Nothing new under the sun. It's terrible how they try to drive someone crazy then accuse you of being crazy if you point out that it's being done. We have many examples of the same tactics being used throughout history. East Germany's being the most blatant and well known:

Much like discussions of many things seen in the media where people point out the blatant fakery and bullshit there are many people being paid to shit up discussion of these topics to make anyone suffering from it look like they're a "unhinged conspiracy theorist". You can't be skeptical of NASA and SpaceX without being accused of being one of those flat Earth people as an example. Another thing I see very often is people spamming things like "You're boring, the Government doesn't care about you and wouldn't devote resources towards monitoring you" when there are multiple Government organizations (NSA, CIA, NRO, FBI etc.) that's entire job description and job security is based on mass surveillance not to mention all of the Government contractors and "advertising agencies" that collaborate with Government fronts like Facebook to spy on people. Spying is the #1 business on the planet and it has been for a long time.
I used to have a figure on this but I don't have it handy at the moment. But if you figure up all of the people employed directly by the Government and all the sub-contractors it comes to something like 4 in 10 people are involved in spying on their neighbors. 30-40% of the population are involved at some level. Many I'm sure don't know exactly who they're working for.
Similarly, we have people being employed to do nothing but fake protests or shit up real protests. Every time more than 3 people get together now there is someone on the Government dole being paid to show up and throw bricks through windows, set shit on fire and yell nonsense at the top of their lungs. Or we have masses of actors showing up to casting calls that show up as a group to random places all over the country to pretend to protest against/for whatever the media is running through the news cycle. Once you see it for what it is then it becomes obvious. Organic protests don't have pallets of bricks being dropped off, stacks of water bottles being provided and soft mats being laid down on sidewalks so the people there can take a break in confront. You'd be amazed just how much stuff happening today isn't real.
I once had a black SUV follow me all the way to the coast (4 hour drive) and back when I got asked by my Uncle to help him retrieve a car he'd loaned out. Same black SUV with two goons in it tailing me all the way on the interstate and back. They'd been parked out at the end of my drive way for over a month by that point. Any time I went to check the mail or attempted to ask them what the fuck their problem was they'd take off. Only to reappear a few minutes after I went back inside. I should have lit their asses up with a paint ball gun or something. It was really annoying. Then they broke into my house the one day I left for longer than 30 minutes. Peeking through my open windows at night like a bunch of perverts. Creeping in my bushes and taking photos. Caught them doing it because the idiots forgot to turn the flash off on their camera at 3am in the morning when they thought I was asleep on the couch.
I didn't believe the people talking about it on the internet until it happened to me simply because I published some words someone somewhere didn't want circulating. The moment it started to gain traction and getting shared by people the harassment started. The average person is so programmed by the media now to disbelieve these things can happen that they'll still accuse you of losing it even if you point out the same two guys sitting in the same car on a deserted street in the middle of nowhere day after day.
I spent a long time learning about the technology involved with this after it happened to me. They have some fucked up weapon systems to mess with people now. They can project sound that only you can hear and will use it to make it appear the person is going nuts because they're "hearing voices". It's an attempt to discredit them and push them into the mental health system. Once you're in that it's over for you. They have the legal right to force you to take chemical lobotomies and you lose your autonomy and most of your rights. It gives them the legal right to take away your firearms, come into your home without a warrant to seize your firearms (and anything else you happen to own they deem a "danger to yourself and society") and they can legally imprison you. It becomes a stain on your record that never goes away.
They have a radar system that can tack anyone, anywhere at any time. They don't need the target to have a cell phone on them to track them (although, it does make it easier if you do carry one). They can tap all your electronics without a warrant. They have access to all "private company" databases that have collected metadata about you. They have systems that do nothing but troll through all that data and make projections about what you might do or say in the future. They build up profiles on both you, your family and your friends to see who is talking to whom. They have 100s of thousands of paid staff that do nothing but monitor communications and spam the fuck out of any place where more than 3 people are trying to have a conversation with each other. They subvert independent platforms and publishers to get their own people in positions of power to shut down discussion and kill off information they don't want spreading before anyone sees it. They have spyware that they've embedded in most public websites and they can serve you modified versions of webpages by changing data on them in-route to you through their so-called anti-ddos providers. They attack and ddos anything that isn't behind those type of services because otherwise they would not be able to get away with doing it (web circa-90s-2000s didn't have this problem). They have people in key positions of power in all software communities to push changes to make things like this possible. It's why your web browser will no longer allow you to view a plain webpage being served over http without throwing up a big warning about how it isn't safe. It's why your web browser doesn't make a peep about the data being modified when the edge server near you serves you a modified .webp version of the .jpg/.png image you requested from the origin server. Which is not supposed to be allowed on https protocol but since they control all key authorities and the web browsers it passes right on through without throwing up any errors.
It's pure fucking evil and in a just world everyone involved would have been sent to the gallows years ago. The vast majority of people involved are in it for the money and nothing else. There are a few true believers that think they're really keeping their country safe. But at some level they must know it's wrong. They are getting paid to help enslave their friends and family.
Whenever they run up against someone they can not paralyze through fear or discredit they resort to good old fashion murder. There are so many odd deaths that have happened in the FOSS communities just in the last decade that it would take me all day to go through them all. Debian is just one of many communities where I've seen this going on. Most every major Linux distro has plenty of these cases tied to it. The founder of Debian Linux posted on social media before he died that the police were harassing him illegally and if they came out and said he killed himself that it wasn't true and they'd murdered him. A couple of weeks later he was discovered dead and it was ruled a suicide without any real investigation. He was one of the lucky ones because some people actually paid attention to him. Most of the time these people just vanish one day and everyone quickly forgets they ever existed.
Any time there is some big change happening in the FOSS world with a lot of people opposed to it we get a "suicide cluster" happening like this. There is one of those big changes happening right now with age verification being pushed in everywhere. 90+% of people are overwhelming against it and opposed to allowing it into their software. They're being silenced on every major website, mailing list and git repo at the moment. All discussion locked. All protest forks being shadow banned and any discussion about them removed from major discussion platforms. Tons of people in positions of power are openly against it one day then a few days later they do a 180 where it's obvious they were either paid for their silenced or threatened with being unpersoned.
Being murdered is much better than what they do to a lot of people. They can black bag anyone they want at any time and haul them off to be tortured at a black site all in the name of "national security".
We live in the worst dystopia in the history of mankind and it's about to get much worse than it already is. The vast majority of people are blissfully unaware of what's going on. It's amazing to me that most of these people in the west spent most of their childhood sitting in classrooms where it was drilled into their minds that Soviets and Nazis were oppressing their populations and doing mass killings and how evil they were. But they now live in a society with much much worse surveillance where people are vanishing everyday or openly being murdered and they don't seem to care at all. "It can't happen here".
I think on some level most people actually enjoy the surveillance. I guess it makes them feel important. I can't believe they've managed to turn this into a business. They don't have to break-in to people's homes to steal diaries anymore because the vast majority of people are so eager to put their every thought on the internet for the world to see. They don't have to bug your home anymore because most people willingly buy the bug and carry it with them everywhere.

Havana syndrome is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. It's totally debilitating. You do not want to get hit with that. I got hit with it more than once and it always took 3-7 days to recover from it. There is nothing you can do to escape it and it forces you to lie down and curl up into a little ball where you'll stay until it stops. One moment you're fine and the next your ears are ringing and you feel sicker than you've ever felt while all the will power you have is sucked right out of your body. You feel like you're going to pass out and die. Then for the next several days you have zero energy and can't find the will to do anything. All you can do is lay in bed and try to recover.
As they say fuck around and find out. If you manage to piss off the right person you'll know. This is why they don't really care if anyone has a rifle anymore. It's useless against the kind of technology they have now to monitor and torture people from a distance.
