Who are you?

Every one has an idea of who they are, however, how we see ourselves and how other people see us as we are may differ greatly. The OP is "who are you"? although seemingly vague the answer cannot be determined in a way that completely fulfills the inquiry. I am who I am is valid only in the response "You are who you are"? Any other response would not be feasible.
Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room
Bedsitter people look back and lament
Another day's useless energy spent
Empassioned lovers wrestle as one
Lonely man cries for love and has none
New mother picks up and suckles her son
Senior citizens wish they were young
Cold hearted orb that rules the night
Removes the colors from our sight
Red is grey, and yellow white
But we decide which is right,
and which is an illusion...
