๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Social ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

It's Solstice day! Yay!

Not that I get at all geeky or borderline obsessive about the exact daylight timings surrounding the winter solstice, oh not me, absolutely not (see below) :roll eyes:, but it pisses me off rather a lot that the mornings will continue to get darker for another 10 days or so. Although it is better news for those who will benefit from the extra minute of daylight in the afternoons, more or less every day from now until the summer solstice.

I probably wont see any daylight on my morning commute until February! I start work early and finish early. One strong positive about that is that it means the traffic is always very minimal, well before most people take to the roads. But roll on February. I hate to wish time away, and of course there are worse things in life than getting up in the dark, going to work in the dark, and it still being dark when you get to work, but I can't deny that I find it a bit depressing, and I really do appreciate daylight and actually being able to actually see the surroundings.

I guess having to 'endure' all this darkness, really does make one more appreciative of the increasing daylight.

Possibly a little inappropriate.... :)

Had a peaceful Solstice evening yesterday, apart from Manchester United ruining it by losing again.

So it's now astronomical winter, which means it's around the middle of meteorological winter. We've not done badly so far considering we had snow throughout last November / December. Of course, we're never safe till after Easter. And it's a late Easter this year.

Aye, pisses all over Benylin...
An episode of 24 hours in Police Custody on channel 4 made me think of you last night.

Happy Xmas, and yeah I am truly sick to my stomach what some of your lot get upto btw!!!!!
I can NEVER judge any of the MDPV freaks again!!!!!!!

What's that all about then? I thought it was a video, but apparently not.
It's a screenshot from the episode.

To keep it short a proper Homosexual who was clearly tweaking his nut off was pulled by the cops, he just so happened to have 53 grams of Meth in his car, it caused a massive NCA raid & over ยฃ1.5 MILLION in Meth is seized from a flat & another guy who worked for the Narco was caught bringing in 1KG of Cocaine from Columbia, all the Meth came from Mexican cartels.

Oh yeh, I remember seeing that. Guy was a total fruit...

I mean who the fuck in their right mind comes from a Gay Chem-sex party, passes out in the car & gets caught with 50 odd gram of Meth FFS.
They were all dumb as fuck imho, the only one I could respect was the Mexican / American guy who had the Mexican Cartel connection, the idiot who gets raided last is clearly not cut out for the job.

When you ask someone who has Mexican Narco connections "Will my wife & kids be safe?" you are 100% fucking dumb imho.

Marseille, France ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Anyone here from this part of France?
Is all these videos online real?
Is it really that bad?
I guess you're talking about the recent drug gang violence.

I've not seen any of the recent footage, but it's always struck me with any footage of any 'civil unrest' or protests etc in France, that the French do these things a lot more dramatically than we do. Setting blazing fires in the middle of roads etc. It kind of makes things looks more like total anarchy when the footage is filmed.

My Dad used to go there on his holidays in his late 80s with no bother quite recently. He mentioned going out in the evenings, and never mentioned feeling unsafe. He did mention it was a rough, working class city, but he seemed to enjoy it.

I gather things vary a lot by neighbourhoods or blocks though, and it sounds like certain areas are probably best avoided.

I haven't got much else to add right now, but will look out for some recent footage of what's been going down lately.

Haha thanks. Yeah that's a good one! How are you getting on?

I sure am, it looks insane over there.

Yeah a few days ago the farmers got mad so they sprayed tons of manure over their version of the council buildings :ROFLMAO:๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค

You ever seen the movie called "La haine" before? If not I highly suggest to check it out, you know at Xmas day when everyone is pissed on Gin & had way too much food, the family fall to sleep & you got fuck all to do get online & check it out.

Also this early work of Gasper Noe called "Irrรฉversible" is 100% worth a watch, his the same guy that did Enter The Void which is equal #1 of my all time movie with the classic The Holy Mountain directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky

I know @Shambles knows this movie & his other classic El Topo.
