Same with me, i was an exceptionally fit athlete before invega, i did not gain too much weight but have gained a considering large amount of fat around the belly. My body heats up toomuch and i cannot exercise, areyou facing the same problem?
No, I have no issues with body heat.

I ran for 5 minutes on Friday and am still sore 3 days later. Hopefully my body will start acclimating so I can increase exercise load.

I really hope the belly fat is not permanent.

My energy levels are good in the morning but they crash by noon. I did not have this problem before invega, i could pull in 10 hour work days prior to invega, a 10 to 15 km run, and finish house chores after with lots of leftover strength and energy.

I want to know what the reason for this is. I suspect it has either got something to do with dopamine levels or low testosterone. I had my testosterone tested early morning where it was normal and in the afternoon where it dipped to abnormally low.
Before Risperidone, I would wake up early and be productive right after waking up. Now, I sleep in and am very slow to start my day. I used to sleep 6-7 hours a night and now I sleep 10 hours.

I used to spend mornings running, doing chores, learning languages, reading books, listening to podcasts, meal prepping, etc. I’m now generally too tired or too anhedonic to engage in old habits and hobbies. Sparks of motivation and energy are coming back, but I’m nowhere close to baseline.

Anyone else experience changes in sleep? Those who’ve recovered from changes in sleep patterns, how long until they went back to normal?

Energy levels have crashed, low motivation, complete sexual dysfunction and ed but libido improved, still cannot exercise or run, still cannot enjoy the hobbies i had prior to invega, cognitive difficulties, lack of deep thinking, lack of imagination, sleep disturbances, body heats up unbearably, painful nostalgic feelings are less but very severe when there
my body heats up at night

Spoke to a lawyer today, he refused to take my case. He said he has never seen a judgement against a psychiatrist. Psyhiatrists have all the power because you are judged according to the notes they leave on your file.

I’m just saying, I’m on vyvanse too I take it everyday for years and it’s not helping my anhedonia, just my focus and a little motivation. The euphoria you get from these drugs is short lived and they are adhd meds first and foremost, so unless you have these symptoms it may not help you and could make you feel worse
I need something to help me,living is hell

I feel like invega is making my gums recede, I only saw one other person have this, my hygiene is still the same

Depends which country your in. In Canada its very hard to sue a doctor but its pretty easy in the US. But ya they do have most of the power sadly

has anyone tried smoking cigarettes while recovering from invega? would you recommend it? I used to smoke but quit a few years ago.
I actually quit while recovering. Nicotine is a hell of an addiction so I wouldn’t recommend picking it back up. Maybe go for walks instead, even just drink more water. Smoking in recovery won’t do anything to help the situation except make you addicted to it.

Not sure why but the past 2 days have been particularly hard. After the amazing mental clarity window I felt on day 74, it was just constant/very frequent brain fog, cognitive issue, painful nostalgic memories and sleep problems. I keep waking up at night and find it hard to go back to sleep.

That’s expected… some days are okay and some days are just horrible, just got to hang in there. Maybe there’s something you can do on hard days to keep your mind occupied? Are you doing anything when you wake up to put yourself back to sleep? I’d recommend having some sleep tea and then listen to a podcast that isn’t interesting enough to keep you awake but interesting enough to listen to until you fall back asleep… maybe even put some lavender oil on your pillow

i keep getting these random moments where something in my head feels like little fires anyone knows what that is

Thanks. I've tried walking around until I get tired, then I go to bed again. Breathing exercises, which helps a little. Also tried switching sleeping places but doesn't seem to be very helpful. Perhaps I'll try the podcast idea.
