I’ll consider myself recovered once I can get high from weed again… the fact I can feel something physical when I smoke gives me a little hope shows that my body is still reacting to it even if it’s not the way I want it to. I used to smoke socially a lot and it sucks it was taken away from me. I was never much of a drinker either. Contemplating not smoking altogether anymore.

I feel the same right now, its been 6 months and i am concerned, but you are still in the early days of recovery, i think you will feel better in 6 months like most people do.
I have developed some new symptoms in past couple of weeks, I don’t know if that’s normal

I thought I was feeling a little better but it was just a placebo. I’m close to finishing myself off.

I also have sleep disturbances and waking up at night; they developed around 2 months being off the shot and not before. Lately, I also experience a lot of intrusive thoughts or painful nostalgic recollection as some have put it.

What's more, I'm also experiencing some fluctuations in waves and windows of mental clarity. I might feel the brain fog lifting and verbal fluency returning for 3 hours or so and then they will disappear and comes the intrusive thoughts and anhedonia for the next day.

As I understand, windows are good signs of recovery.

Further to this. In my darkest moments I tried killing myself on numerous occasions. I hung from a rope in my closet partially suspended, luckily I could never achieve death.

I considered driving my car into a tree, I considered jumping from heights. I considered popping pills.

Look luckily none of this happened.

Yall helped along the way.
Did you take any supplements? Also what does your height and weight history look like? I am curious if gaining or losing weight has anything to do with recovery since invega is injected into muscle in an oil suspension.

I may still have anhedonia, but I have the motivation to get up most days, and do a few hobbies even if I’m not engrossing myself in them like before. It’s better than when I first got the injections and I didn’t even want to go to work, but that was for multiple reasons
