Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v11

I have always been fit until gaining weight on Risperidone. I have lost the weight, but my fat composition is much higher than it used to be, especially in the stomach.

@paranoid android did you experience something similar after Invega? If so, how long did it take to restore lean muscle mass and get rid of excess fat?

I gained alot of weight on invega and abilify. I went from probably about 170lbs (ya i was skinny) to 225lbs of fat. However i lost the weight once went off the abilify and was put on latuda. I went down to about 170 which looking back is to skinny. However loosing the flabby gut has been a challange. I went from about 17lbs to now being 205lbs of mostly muscle. But even with lifting weights and being on testosterone replacement therapy i still have abit of a belly. Not much though mnd you

However disclaimer here i also enjoy my dr.pepper sometimes 5 a day and beer sometimes 12 to 16 at a time about once a week or more unless im drinkibg vodka usually a bottle at a time. So ya big disclaimer there lolil

It only took me about 5 or 6 months to lose all the fat but i didnt start putting on muscle until i started lifting weights when i was maybe a year off the abilify injections. Now im in the best shape of my life

I take zyprexa like you at night 10mg. I’m also 3.7 months off Invega. I hope I can function on zyprexa like you.

Yeah anhedonia is killing me at the moment. There have been improvements with the akathisia. I also have cognitive problems. I’m almost four months off.

You can still feel caffeine on zyprexa right ? From my research zyprexa at 10mg blocks 60-70% of your D2 dopamine receptors, but the following morning it drops exponentially to around 35-40% meaning you can still feel caffeine in the mornings apparently. Invega blocks 60-80% constantly, which explains my anhedonia.
 
I get it, it sucks. It sucked for me too. I don't know how I made it out. I guess just focusing on getting healthy overall with a lot of positive habits which I was able to create.

The anhedonia will get beter it did for me

I have no trouble feeling any drug on zyprexa. If i skip a day or 2 i can trip no problem. I feel weed, clonazepam, bromazepam and morphine no problem. In fact im just about to cook a fat shot of morphine right now
 
I took vyvanse again, it's been 2 hours and I feel so calm. It's giving me such relief. I'm enoying music, my head is clear, nothing is stressing me and I have more energy.

I just got another injection of risperidone yesterday and I'm still pissed about the weight gain I can't take off because of it. And the doctor responsible for it talks like i'm a lazy bastard who won't exercise, as if that's the only solution. Anyways, freeeedooom!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abilify is a weaker antipsychotic than invega. I think this is why it's working so early for me.

I tried ritalin 30 days since my last injection and I didn't get much of an effect. So my brain is changing for sure. Must be less dopamine receptors blocked now for me.

For me abilify was the same as invega. I could still feel drugs on both invega and abilify though. I never lost that
