Plenty of recent results for etaqualone, but wasn't that supposed to be a bit rubbish?
Surprised to see that making a comeback! I really thought that it was a once in a lifetime thing, and gone for good.
It was not good orally, seeing as the dose required to get high was far too close to the lethal o/d dose. With virtually no window for error.
I think most people with any sense were terrified of it, as the main vendor also issued extremely strongly worded warnings about the substance being very unforgiving of dosing errors.
People were saying that sublingual dosing avoided that particular problem, but complained of chemical burns or ulcers via that method of dosing.
I think I bought 2 or 3 g, IIRC, and used the majority of that gradually working upwards with the oral doses, but always staying well short of the dangerous range. It never did anything at all.
Finally, when I only had enough left for one dose, I tried it sublingually, and it worked very very well for me. I loved it!
No ulcers or chemical burns either.
For better or worse, by that time it was too late to get any more, as the ban hammer had struck, and I had let the fire sales at crazily cheap prices pass me by without being tempted.
I'd have probably been OK if I'd bought 5 - 10 g in the fire sales. Then enjoyed it for it's brief period of availability, and then it was gone for ever (or so I thought at the time.)
I shouldn't have been able to get myself into too much bother with 5 - 10g. It probably was highly physically addictive with nasty w/ds.
