Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v11

Is there any hope for recovery from the sexual dysfunction as a female? This is the worst symptom I have and makes me feel so disabled. I could still deal with the anhedonia but the sexual dysfunction makes me wanna suicide right away. @InvegaAnon do you know of other females who recovered from having sexual dysfunction? And how is your recovery coming up?

I got PSSD on top of invega side effects and I'm very nearly recovered. Sensitivity could be a lot better, libido has been satisfactory but not normal yet. I don't mind if I'm missing some of that as long as sex feels good and I can have it on demand. I'm confident I'll recover, most people who show some recovery in PSSD recover completely or almost so. I no longer feel suicidal over my remaining sexual dysfunction. Sensation is often the last thing to recover and it has started to recover for me.

As for anything else, well, I have been playing my favorite video game, watching new TV shows and I'm getting really into them, and I'm crying about this stupid cute song right now.

I just Lost What i had left of my barely minimum sexual function, i don’t masturbate anymore since maybe 7 days or so and i came to realize that mi penis is almost white-likely (it’s not because i dint shower) because i take 1-3 warm baths everyday due to my back pain.

Yeah i just came to look at my penis and it’s like if it’s dying, it’s white and not more skin colour like it was normally, idk what this mean? Sensivity it’s also very very low..

Figuring out to live while in this condition is hard, as everything I used to enjoy no longer brings me satisfaction. I understand how people see only suicide in the option, as I’m just one step from there myself. It’s currently painful to be awake and there is no cure, no escape and no way to know if you’re ever going to get better. It’s only been two and a half months and I can’t see any sign that my suffering will reduce.

Please guys tell me who have exceeded the fourth month mark, is there any sign of improvement. @Invegatorture,
I know the reason you made that name, as one feels a constant pressure hence they can’t relax at all- leaving them with a feeling of being tortured. I was motivated the first month coming off the injections as I thought I’d see some changes soon, but coming into the third month, I still feel the same.
Heck I’d be happy with a partial recovery at this point as I’m that bad.

I had that insomnia when I first got Invega. I couldn’t sleep for more than 4 hours at night, I also had nightmares. Eventually, it fixed itself and I was able to return to 8 hours of sleep

Did you ever take zyprexa/olanzapine?

I believe I got forced to take zyprexa while in the hospital(looney bin). But I don’t remember exactly what I was taking as I was being fed multiple antipsychotics a day so I couldn’t say which antipsychotic made me feel a certain way, don’t have a strong opinion on it

I’m watching nurse jackie it’s ok. I’ve been playing genshin impact… trying to distract myself but it’s not enough. I don’t even recognize myself anymore. How can I recover from this? It doesn’t seem possible at all….

I am grateful for people like @Invegatorture , @paranoid android ,and @demileigh who give us some hope on this forum. I wish more people who recovered would come here to encourage us to keep moving. Seeing comments from people like @RisperdalConsta50mg and few others only makes us more anxious and suicidal. I wish he didnot make comments like " i think the brain cannot heal this kind of damage, blocking 80% dopamine, 80% serotonine, alfa 1, alfa 2, GABA, norandrenaline it’s a “non-turning point"... unless there is proven scientific basis to it.

Please somehow reach out to people who recovered to come here and give us some hope.

But this is up to you, what do you want? The truth or false hope? My experience or fairytales? I don’t want false hope i just want the truth, this is how i’am, but if you need just some hope to hang in and don’t give up this is another story, we are here also because of that, i’am not that one who will share hope at this Moment because i’am the one who need that the most, like some others there as @rawbanana

Agreed. It is being suppressed here and elsewhere, there is something seriously wrong/flawed with long-acting injectable antipsychotics. It is not being exposed as it should be

What is your basis for saying that the brain is permanently damaged for everyone except for what you personally think? Should we treat the stories of people who said they recovered as fairy tales?

I mightnot have recovery but i would not go on to say that every ones brain is permanently damaged and they will also not recover. Before i die, i would spend my energy trying to raise my voice against the psychiatrists and mental health system who did this to me, try to bring public attention to it. I would not come here and tell the victims of this drug that they are permanently damaged and there is no recovery. I would not be adding to their anxiety and suffering just because i personally didnot recover or have yet not recovered.

Suicide is when you CHOSE by yourself to kill yourself, when they left you in agony and the only way to stop that agony is death then this is not suicide this is killing someone or pushing someone to kill himself.
