Fuck man..I don't know how much longer I'm going to succeed..I'm on day uhm. 10?
After one night with a few hours sleep, last night went back down to less than 30 mins sleep and I feel fucking worse than yesterday. The RLS was less severe and didn't last quite as long but my legs were burning all night still and I just couldn't sleep at all.
I don't have the energy to do anything with life it feels like I've just been wasting away forever now with no end in sight.
The Kratom doesn't seem to do anything at all whatsoever to help with the RLS or sleep
I'm almost considering getting some Suboxone dropped off but then I'd be back to square one again like fuck
Even if you do decide to go on maintenance you likely would of largely reduced your dependence, and with a competent doctor you can reduce at a rate that’s comfortable.
I’ve heard initial induction can even sometimes be rapidly tapered down with little discomfort, so you can become opioid free quicker but again this is individual.
The kratom will only maintain you at best but less effectively due to it needing multiple doses a day, and id speculate also the possibility of different batches having different potency.
Similar could be said with the couple of doses of morphine, as it will rapidly come and go, not allowing the receptors to adjust.
If you haven’t tapered down appropriately with these things it has the potential to bounce back the withdrawal.
I’d really recommend try getting agamatine if you’re able to OTC and then clonidine from a doctor to see if you can get any further on your own.
Either stick to Kratom, and try obtain enough of a single batch and slowly drop it as slow as you need (even if only 50-100mg at a time)
Else keep going best you can, with an emphasis on clonidine and things like Agmatine, Theanine, Magnesium Malate, Lemon Balm, Taurine IF you can obtain them.
It’s a stab at a dark, but a ethical and competent doctor should give a clonidine prescription under the understanding of aiding someone come off Opioids!
It’s however not a failure to decide to use buprenorphine however, you have been braver than many to get this far with minimal aids and it’s merely a tool to aid getting of or to long term keep someone stable and aid cravings.
You’ve done amazing.
