Misc Best sleep med

It’s so hard for me to get to sleep at night. Then when I do get to sleep it’s hard for me to stay asleep.
Medijuana places allow you to send your records with your name blurred out, to see if you can get approved before applying. They make exceptions for some cases even if you don’t technically qualify.

Worth a try, if you want it prescribed.

I can’t use bud at all. Gives me horrible panic attacks no matter what strain etc

Try using really small amounts, easier with bud. Like literally just some the size of this letter - O. Pair it with a tiny bit of pulse meds or benzos

If they do prescribe it they can give you edibles made especially for you, with the amount you’re comfortable with.

Try hash, it’s not that strong.

Wouldn't be too sure of that - decent quality hash can easily be upwards of 30% thc but we tend to smoke less weight of it than bud

I know a few people who have had their arses handed to them by making the mistake of using the same weight of hash in edibles as they did for bud - they won't make that mistake again I bet

Hash does tend to have a higher cbd % than bud though (and higher levels of some other cannabinoids too iirc) which helps balance the high

May try that sometime. Only problem is I get drug tested at the doc every month and my doc don’t do marijuana cards

Makes me shudder to read about drug testing - I'd be absolutely fucked if I had to do that, doesn't bear thinking about and you have my sympathy - brutal
They’re sneaky about it sometimes, atleast with amps you can stall for a few days sometimes lol.

Water in a cup, get out, come back and say sorry

there's drugs to help you fall asleep easier then there's drugs that just increase the quality of sleep.

personally i find seroquel is the best, but it is an antipsychotic so i wouldn't take it daily. doesn't help induce sleepiness but the sleep quality is insane

how does it increase the quality of sleep? does it not suppress REM?

THP doesn’t have a high, which is a plus for me. It’s one of the better sleep meds I’ve found. Get THP rather than corydalis extract, as the latter varies in potency. There are also many other isoquinolones in corydalis that have variable effects, I find the two different, irrespective of the extract.
Valerian root also works, but extracts less so. The problem is that you make tea with whole herb, and it takes several washes to get all the goodies out, so, invariably, you need to pee 3 hours later. Magnolia bark extract, passionflower extract, and kava also help, but marginally.

Passion Flower - GABA-A receptor agonist / PAM
Valarian - Sedative & Hypnotic

How does passion flower work for you? Have you tried with without all the other stuff or compared the other stuff with vs without out?

It seems to be inconclusive whether or not its anxiolytic.

Many studies such as the one above say it doesn’t work. Some say it does. One study said it works as well as olanzapine.

So it’s actually a gaba a agonist? I kept reading is. It’s being called a “modulator” of gaba. I’m aware benzos are gaba modulators and not proper agonists. I don’t know the mechanistic nuance behind all of this just what they are labeled as, but would love to know

It’s also go harmaline which is MAOi. Don’t know what kind of feel that adds beyond gabaminergic activity

Curious about trying some I may give it an order. I drink chamomile for its apigenin. It binds to the bexodiazpime site but its activity there isn’t super well known. Apparently show no axyolitic response in mice but reduced locomotor activity in mice. It just tastes good and smells good too so I take it for that also

I have a bunch of different teas I’ve tried for their anxiolytic effects. Most useless. Chamomile I use a lot but not sure if it works well as I take REAL drugs as well.

I know chamomile puts my partner to sleep well and they don’t take any substances at all enen OTC sleep aids.

I find pregabablin as my perfect fll asleep drug (rls that methadone doesn't even solve) and Clonazepam or another longer acting benzos as the stay asleep drug. I got a be careful when I take my methadone or I'll piss myself in the middle of the night being so relaxed

Dunno about passion flower, but a few drops from a Valerian tincture worked pretty well for me when I was a kid.

Have you tried Chamomile wine?

Erythrina Mulungu [the Coral Tree]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythrina_mulungu

Purely for sleep right. Do you live in South America by chance ?
Chances slim, but if buy a pack of Pharmaceutical, or if its prescription.
Go to the dr. and ask for Mulungu Erythrina extract or pure Erythravine.
No clue how they look as official med, only know the root and extract.
But over there its a accepted medication and ime working remedy.

When you live elsewhere, where its not known or a prescribed med.
Order on the internet, if its the good shit i once bought from a vendor.
You have the perfect sleep med, no re-creative or nasty side effect s.
No fake sleep, like benzo s and the like give. That essentially can,
bring even more damage to sleep architecture.

Though a 5 day course of Diazepam, cured my 2 year insomnia period.
So they are not useless when used to reboot the sleep system.
For a short period, but Erythravine scored better on all fronts vs Diazepam.
Including preventing seizure s and controlling Epilepsy.

As anti-depressant and anti-anxiety med, and unlike most Western medicine.
Its also Healthy, loaded with anti-oxidant s. A bonus you get.
