I doubt it… the last time he indulged in massive insider trading he posted it publicly on Truth Social. Hardly the work of an ubermind. But it really doesn’t matter cos, as noted, laws only apply to those who don’t make the laws.
 
Yeah I meant to say the insider trading aspect was only part of it, the main part was probably to try and get better deals for America, by threatening to throw a spanner in the works, with the heavy tariffs, and then when he inevitably softens his approach, most countries will be only too glad to accept his concessions. There by potentially securing better terms for the USA.
 
I’m honestly not too sure about that. I know the Trump administration claimed to have “200 countries” in talks with another 100 “knocking on the door” but given basic geography I rather suspect they are overplaying their hand.

The EU and China announced an end to tariffs between themselves recently and I kinda suspect America has screwed the pooch on this one. They’ve just got everybody’s backs up and countries are now looking for a more stable trading partnership outside of the US.

I think they’ve most likely sidelined themselves rather than made themselves the hot ticket for trade deals. But we’ll see, I guess.

I don't think the UK has Won since that Sheryl woman who had her skirt ripped off did their song, that was before I was born!!!!

What I've NEVER got is it's for people from Europe, when was Israel part of The E.U. or even a Neighbour to West Russia?

Nah don't worry about it. I've had a really full on week so I haven't been keeping up with the news and completely forgot about the contest until someone reminded me last night so I was watching it on catch up.

Don't forget Australia! The only reason they're in the contest at all is that they nagged and nagged until the organisers finally caved.

I'll watch the second half of the final tonight.
