Hi, can yo tell what is prexum??? I never heard abou it. Thanks!!!
I am on 50mg Vyvanse daily and my life has changed in the last 2 years I have been on them, changed for the better in a way that I had been searching for since 1991.
So basically, Lisdexamfetamine was a game changer for me (52 now), so feels like I am starting fresh again, but damn body needs more than an "oil change".....
OK - Finally to answer your question, I hope the below explains it adequately.
Perindopril (Trade name Prexum), is a medication used to treat high blood pressure in my case. If I hadn't started taking the BP medication, I was an accident waiting to happen.
Not blaming the Vyvanse at all, my BP was high when tested and I hadn't even taken my morning dose, in fact I was on .5mg Alprazolam, in the hope that my BP wouldn't be a concern and the Vyvanse would continue to be prescribed.
Worrying about nothing. Doc put me on the Prexum 5mg in the morning, three weeks later BP 129/74. on Vyvanse and off.
It is used for other heart conditions too. But thankfully I am not in this category yet, I will be if I don't cut down on these damn Winston Purples... so easy to smoke. But it will happen, I will quit cigarettes, and soon too.
Prexum has stabilized my BP as if it were magic. I test it occasionally and am impressed with the meds.
