Laura, I believe that one of the ways you can deal with DPDR is through going outside, spending time in nature and also interacting with people as and society.
That's how you get your personality back (depersonalization) and create a new reality (derealisation).
If you go for walks it helps with flushing out the "poison".
In all cases check out what DrZaius1 said and how he is feeling much better after 1 year. He was hopeless but things turned out for the better so have some faith.
