They are potent Anticholinergics but dopamine & serotonin is blocked. Which can cause the brain to do some very cursed rewiring to keep It psychosis. Severe sedation Is from M1 antagonism being stronger than the limited Dopamine & serotonin levels.

What even more evil Is how psychosis causing small brains was them using medicated schizopherincs as their proof. The volume loss was the brain trying to keep It psychotic baseline backing It a neurotoxin.
 
Wow, a lot of people, not liking a lot of different substances. I've completely read this thread. Because I can't think of a drug I don't like. I've had some difficult experiences over the years, yes, no fun at all. For example there was period in my life, when I went clubbing from thursday to ending sunday on some (usually sad afterparty). I had the habbit of taking acid on saturday night, almost sunday morning, so I'd be tripping still a part of sunday. The fact that I was up since thursday, could add a grim atmosphere to the trip. Mostly I could enjoy that, but sometimes it everything would feel wrong and shitty. The people around me were also on the comedown and tried to freebase as much coke as possible, wich wasn't very much. I don't like coke. They never had much to smoke, poor guys. Anyway back to my high, mostly speed and acid by that time, xtc, ketamine and ghb I'd do the nights and days before.
Sometimes the afterparty annoyed me so much I'd just go home. I hated going home alone, but it was like that for several years. At home I would smoke a few pipes of dmt before going to bed. It was sort of a ritual. But one time I was all out of dmt and a found some salvia divinorium. I tried it years before but without any memorable results. This batch was 20x extract, and knowing those smartguys in their smartshop, they advise small doses. So I just jammed my bong full as can be. At least 5 times the dose on the package.
Oeioeioei. I went straight to this horrible universe, starting of as a piece of wood (part of a banister), with the knowledge that I was once a tree (offcourse in abstract tree non-thinking) and the knowledge that this now was forever. Not even the slightest memory of being me, a human. Dead wood has no need for the concept of time (no calender, no watch, no use for it?) So this horror was and always had been. I experienced forever. The trip did change but only for the worse, I became an atom or a molecule and just being that was awfully hard, I fell through white nothing where hands caught me some times and threw ma around, difficult to describe.
The fifteen minutes were over (back to reality) I was scared senseless, when for a second it felt like it was coming on for a second wave, I tore up my sheets out of fear.

It took me some years but I gave it another go. With a smaller dose. And I'll probably do it again.

Wait, I forgot, I don't like 2c-b and other 2c-varieties, I can't stand the bodyload. I only use it together with a bit of heroin. That makes the bodyload acceptable.

It just trolling since It a SNRI + NMDA blocker, It less dirty than Ketamine or Nitrous. I had to block a few not happy that hardcore shroom users couldn't tell DXM from Shrooms, They used the fact It a disso to tell them apart. One kept calling me ignorant while I literally stated they would've failed If It was 450 ~ 600mg with no DXO conversion, Backing up It being a SNRI It why It full psychdelic.

It also the same ones who take DPH & other drugs at upper mid doses then come here or to Reddit, To moan that the trip is too much while having the audacity to state they haven't tried much.

Never had DXM.

Is it really that close to shrooms? Seems hard to believe as it's a very different chemical, I thought it would somewhat be more similar to esketamine and/or methoxetamine.

It a psychedelic stimulant like MDMA, LSD, RC psychedelic. It being psychedelic purely through SERT activity at 80 ~ 100% proves the data that SSRI's & serotonin itself is non-hallucinogenic Is just doctors trying avoid people getting high on them. Adderall, Meth, Ritalin/Concerta are DNRI's yet at high doses can get you high the same way a direct D2 agonist would.

When I was high/tripping on 450mg I got psychedelic effects that I never got on Nitrous oxide. DXM Is still a liver based drug so It depends on the ratio of DXM & DXO.

Also DXM & DPH Is also magical for the fact you only get the best aspects of both. I usually do 350mg + 75mg.

And do you not feel the opioid effects? I am opioid naive except for methoxetamine, would I feel it or is it too mild of an effect to be distinguishable?

Glad that I'm not the only one that can't understand how so many people enjoy this drug so much.
I'll take caffeine as a rec stim before I take coke I swear, and I've had coke that people using occasionally for 20 years said was on par with the best they ever had.
It's not that the effects themselves are underwhelming and limited what my heart seems to be able to take before it starts to work too hard, the comedown from using like 0.3g 0.4g in 6 hours is SO FUCKING BAD... I've literally had tachycardia for 12 hours straight after sessions with that much mid grade coke.
 
It was a lab tested purple transformer. Sold as MDMA. Contained 2 parts tfmpp 1 part bzp.

They made hundreds of thousands of these around the 2008 new years. Terrible fake X pills. For some they were deadly.

Side effects were deceptive at first. Elevated heart rate, dilated pupils, rise in body temperature.

About 2 hours into it I became very uneasy feeling. Felt sick , chest pain, started dry heaving . Spent the next 4 hours in the bathroom crying and throwing up. Every few minutes I'd get this terrible feeling like my heart had stopped.

That feeling continued for 5 days. I called poison control the next day. They were no help at all. That when I found blue light. I talked to others online about the pills and they were able to provide a few links pertaining to the pills I took.

That experience scared me so bad I didn't take x again until I bought a test kit over a year and a half later. I never had a bad experience with x quality again.

That from the DXO, DXM without converting Is purely a SNRI. That aspect drowned out by DXM being overall SNRI + NMDA blocker.
 
Datura scares me to death.

While I was living in Amsterdam a friend decided to try datura and we had to baby-sit them for 72 hours. They were doing all of the bizarre things you hear about. Talking to people who ween't there, smoking non-existant joints, asking really strange questions. A bird flew past and the tripper asked 'when I close my eyese, why can the birds still see me?.

Never scary in terms of they were never volent, but disturbing that someone could be expeneincing such a totally different reality.

Petrol fume are commonly used in some African nations. People buy 1l of petrol, place it in a plastic bottle and huff it for hours at a time. I read it causes severe brain damage.

Ether also saounds pretty nasty. I read that when it was first discovered there were a number of fatalieties. People were soacking a piece of cloth in ether and then lying down with the cloth covering their faces.

Have you seen the BBC TV series 'Quacks'? One of the characters is John Snow, a dentist and the first man to test both ether and chloroform during surgery. Although fiction, it's based on fact and when he began trials, about half the patients died.

So good list and certainly things I would NEVER touch.

BTW mentioing datura. In some prisons it's been discovered that inmates are smoking IBS medications that contain tropine alkaloids... crazy!

Most of the hardcore junkies that I used to hang around with had started taking the stuff to deal with untreated mental health problems and / or awful life circumstances they couldn't cope with.
I myself definitely went through a period where I was using to cope and to lessen my major depression and PTSD.
 
Back in the 90's some idiot psychiatrist prescribed Thioridazine in an effort to cure my "self medicating/drug abuse".

I felt like a paralyzed lizard and my vision was as if I was seeing out of my ears - kind of a reverse squinting (if that makes sense) - it was terrible and I got rid of the meds and never went to that doctor again.

In fact it made my curiosity about self medicating even more intense. :p

ADHD wasn't even thought of and only at the age of 30, after having to provide evidence did they finally put me on Ritalin, which didn't really help me much but was the only ADHD medication available in this country.

If I would have been prescribed Vyvanse ( or at the time dexamfetamine ) I am positive that the trajectory of my life would have been completely different.

In hindsight though I am glad I went through the rough times in my youth (there were many fun times) and am blessed to be on the perfect medication now,
