Totally agree with you here. Bunch of herbs slung together. It's a nice light almost alcohol like buzz you want. The drinks are ok the botanicals n that. But perhaps in my substance weary neural system the don't do much. But with the price tag I think I'd just like an iron brew n something I got from Holland n Barrett.

I did get it to work a little but never seem to be able to do it a 2nd time plus it was mild. I'm holding out till the alcarelle which is synthetic and hopefully has an effect.

Even for a pub crawler like me
 
Aye if it's the alcarelle I've heard about it's gonna be good once the finally do it. Push it past all the alcohol companies etc etc. I hope sooner than later.

There are ethanol alternatives. Butanediol (considered trying but decided nah) or ether (had a passing phase but hangover is awful). Add on anything noteworthy...

I like a pub crawl too. These days I'm better just having the odd pint though. Except for when I use it as a medical adjunct. Cheers 🍻

It's a great HR idea but some will abuse it. Both maliciously and recreationally. Fuck it, we would have injected vitamin C if only they'd made it illegal...

Coffee is legal but people don't drink so much in one sitting that it does them harm - well I've never heard of it I mean.

Don't think alcarelle can harm you if you keep going because all your gaba receptors will be occupied, so nothing further should happen (apart from stomach exploding) 😱

Well I assume alcohol does that already after about 3 drinks since gaba is first on alcohol's list??
It's just alcohol then moves to the other parts of the brain if you keep drinking.

Sorry if I'm oversimplifying it. I could be wrong.

Agreed. These functional drinks are not hitting the spot. Alcarelle is the only hope. Just wanna feel some sort of measurable effect
