🗣️ General Discussion 🗣️ The Weather Thread

At least they don't have gators or lots of venomous snakes; I mean the really nasty dangerous ones. Yes there are mildly venomous snakes but not like the ones here.

Then again Australia is literally slithering with death, so is Africa, India and Southeast Asia. They really realy have it bad. Ireland has no snakes.

It pisses me off that even though I am not Catholic; that I can't properly celebrate St. Patrick's day in the traditional matter; getting falling down drunk and pissing and puking in the the streets.

Ah the good old days( I can't believe I started drinking in the morning, even before I was legal to drink here in America) yea they sold me my first ak-47( variant) and legally, when I was 18 and at 19( while in college) I got stuck in the ' youthful offenders program' with a bunch of 16 and under delinquents( ok I was worse than most of them).

I know some would get there early and smoke weed in their cars in the parking lot before the class. lol. No drinking , just drugs. Lol
Overhere its almost like walking on pluche. The most poisonous snake, the Addler, is not deathly.
And on the list of treathened with extintion probably.
We only have one deathly mushroom which does come in two beautiful colors.
Our Poison Ivy's are nettles and the great Acanthus which is invasive.
But in no degree poisonous as Ivy.

And somehow a year ago the bats disapeared local, why no one knows?
Which eat a lot of Mosquitos, not the Malaria kind yet, but the Tiger Mosquito from China introduced itsself here.
Which are said to be dangerous as they spread a disease?

So if you love wildlife, the highest chance for an encounter is in the city, dont mean the ZOO.
But native animals like Foxes, Sea-Eagles and Rabbits in the wide open crossing your path.

Seems like citys have become the last refuge, along with the few wild big nature reserves, you can probably count them on 1 hand.
In rural areas, Foxes or might they come Wulf's are shot on spot, illegal.
Reason protecting their stock, they normalized it which shows their stupidity.

But explaines why all my Fox encouters where in the city, on the whole island there aint one.
Rabbits died here long ago from Mixamotose, so now we have Russian wild Ponys and Scottish Highlanders doing their job.

I forgot about those. I fell into one on a nature trip as a kid and had bumps all over me for a day
Very painful when you are a kid, had the same experience many times. But like granny said the sting is healthy just like antbites, wonder if thats really so. But ant acid and the Histamine reaction from nettles are endurable. For Poison ivy you go to the hospital if I am correct?

But i once was pushed in a Rosegarden by a chick twice my age. Well that hurted. Nettles over Rosegardens any day.

We just put calamine or other stuff on it to dry it out and make it itch less. People who are extra allergic to poison ivy may end up in the hospital tho

I got out and there was distinct petricore. It is obvious fall is coming. I can't wait for the libs erecting from the ground. And amanita muscaria. I tripped on june two times and neither was intensely strong experience (which is fine in social setting) while I had good time anyway.

how can you compare the price of investment and electricity bill to cold beer? My electricity pays something like 10 cents/kwh or so, if I have not mistaken. I live alone in 50 square meter apartment.

Liter of cheapest beer is 2.55 euros when cans are recycled.

Also; does the air conditioner cause irresistible temptation to buy more air conditioners?
