I take the trains don't run like they do in Japan? I believe in small, limited government, but some things, like public transportation and utilities, should be state run.
Trains. No Busses is where its at, the last Tram, like a Train but smaller distance between the tracks.
That used to ride here, a bumpy ride! Their lines connected with each other via Ferry s, very nostalgic before my time.
During 2-nd WW damaged, repared 1940. But in '53, the big flood. Was the end of it, it was outdated as human started forming land connections, cars/ busses took over and bridges/ tunnels.
But no train within a 45 minute radius. And even then it goes so slow the first part, taking a bus is faster.
And as a stubborn hardhead that refused to get his driver licence and a car

. Which are basic needs if you live remote like this.
Not even a hospital. Rich people Rightwingers, Christians, a lot of tourists. The sole reason there is no dispensary around.
And then the minority of poor mostly heathens, refugees and a few like me.
Called tolerated imports, no matter if your stems do have some roots here.
These roots they just disgard, my fam that lived here were fishers, no agriculture types like most.
But when a ship was in need of help during a storm, they were also the designated rescue brigade, before the motor was developed!
When a boat was in trouble in the stormy sea, they took the lifeboat, propelled by peddles and went in, fearless?
But they saved lots of lives and lost some including some of my fam. They were hero's, which is nice to know.
And a bit anarchistic they seemed, which is not an unfamiliar charateristic.
But they were looked at with a scorn by the rest (farmers mostly, so a bit brainless simple kinda folks).
But my fam did get a very nice statue as honour, wich I only saw once. They took risks no farmer would.
So eventually I ll have to return for a more thorough look.
