My dad used to be a very heavy (daily) drinker. He's calmed down a lot now but I can tell he's drunk whenever he sends me messages basically saying "give up" or "let it go" when it comes to aspirations/dreams. It really triggers me, especially of late after we connected a bit more.
 
That's rough. We are our own person though, maybe that thought helps.

Personally my gf is going to be working late a couple nights this week and gone all day Saturday. I need to keep myself in check but I'm unsure how. I'm always looking for excitement. I am not sure I'll be able to resist drinking on a 4 mile walk and getting a dozen .5 wings and eat by the pond but, hopefully that's it. And hopefully I don't feel the need to get stupid drunk. Just enough to be able to deal with strangers gazes and mild life frustrations.

fuck yeah, big hugs. i’ve got a lot of booze in my house rn but i maintain with kratom and alcohol + kratom is never a fun combo so i just stay away from it in general! proud of you, this time of year gets rough for a lot of us

good evening guys xoxox i hope everyone is having a splendid evening :) im just enjoying some relaxing time in the living room and figured i’d pop in. i pulled out the laser toy to play with the kitties, and it’s hilarious. not just because they relentlessly try to catch this laser but considering we run a cat / kitten rescue, seeing 18 cats try to catch this tiny red dot is absolutely hilarious.


anyways, todays been a lovely day honestly. ran some christmas errands downtown, took a 10mg valium(oooops), and have just been content all day long. i got a LOT of presents wrapped and put under the tree, which got me immediately in the christmas spirit :)

anyways; doing well guys. i hope all of you are doing alright & enjoying your evening with your family or your pets or your friends or even just yourself.
