Professor Nutt's magic jizz (Sentia)

This is a really good interview about alcohol and the future. Sir nutt is on there 😃 .. heard it from the horses mouth.... 4 years time.

So, the man who once said something sensible about horse riding and ecstasy is trying to become a millionaire by selling an alcohol replacement therapy called Sentia.

Has anyone tried it? It's £14 for 8 doses, er, drinks, plus P and P. You can get it by going to GabaLabs website. I haven't tried it and would like some of you to waste your money first. I'm getting mixed reports. The ingredients are uninspiring, not least because he doesn't list them all ("Propietary blend" is a well known way for woo shit to get around this - all herbal shit uses the same ruse).

So someone go and splash out some dosh on my behalf and report back. Yes, the man is a hero for that horse riding thing. He's also raised £20 million of other people's money to get this off the ground. Putting 5-htp as the last (and therefore least) ingredient does not fill me full of hope. Particularly as the rest is hippy shit.

Why am I doing this down? Because I don't totally trust a man who is in the pockets of BigPharma, not to mention hedge fund managers who have helped him along the way with this.

Do report back. His site has gaba in the name which should give you a clue as to likely effects. If there are any.

Love and violence

Looks like all the ingredients are listed and I wouldn’t expect much of a buzz. As far as I know ashwaghanda is the strongest thing in there and even at high doses I never found it comparable to an ethanol buzz.

Ingredients: water, agave syrup*, blackberry concentrate, aronia concentrate*, botanical extracts (magnolia, linden*, passion-flower*, liquorice, ashwagandha*, hawthorn, damiana, rose*, tulsi*, gentian), hibiscus infusion*, spice extracts, acid: citric, malic. preservative: potassium sorbate. - (* organic - 63%).

Contains liquorice - people suffering from hypertension should avoid excessive consumption.
From Sentia website.

Sorry. I did actually say quite like him and that's an error on my part.
It's not an error n2d, no apologies necessary - we are still (just about) free to like whoever we wish (and vice -versa) it's better than hate afterall eh...anyway I bet even Nigel has some kinda likeable quality somewhere (very cleverly hidden, granted)

Wonder if anyone will ever try to mass market a drink with tert-Amyl alcohol in it? Or shit kratoms everywhere now, you would think phenibut would follow suit. Or wait, haven’t there already been problems with them cracking down on phenibut or did I dream that?

Depends where in the world you are. Kratom is now classed a 'psychoactive substance' in the UK and illegal to sell (although not to possess). Not sure about Phenibut

In that podcast I posted they tried sentia live on air at the end. Claimed it had an effect. Meh

Yeah I was going to say I was referring to the U.S. where I reside where kratom is sold in every tobacco shop now and even gas stations. I had forgotten about that whole “psychoactive substance” ban in the U.K. That’s fucked up.

It's hopefully going to calm soon. Torys could die
