A bit less of the expression of utter surprise, at the start of the sentence. If I knew how to post videos (yes I am an auld git), I'd put Johnny Winter: 'Still Alive and Well', purely out of affrontery at the use of the first word!

Actually, I've just had one of the weirdest Saturday nights, in the past, god knows how many, years.
Went out at a reasonable time (8-9 ish). Now, 30 minutes apearฤบier, I'd necked 2 x 10mg dexedrine and a bit of hash I thought might be a bit big, but the dexamphetamine should straighten out any excesses. Y'know, sometimes, pharmacologists get it wrong and when they do, it's usually of biblical scale consequences.
So, there I was, grinning innanly and making what I thought were witty observations when the hash hit me like a ton of shit. While it made the band (an INXS tribute band) sound fucking brilliant, the world around me stopped having cause & effect and would have looked more in character, had someone been wearing a top hat, with a 10/6 label, tucked in the brim. One mate just grinned at me and made the occasional comment straight out of a 'Carry On' script. The other eventually decided to explain, after extracting maximum entertainment from the whole scenario - I kept getting bumped, in the crowd, while watching the band. Only in the taxi back, did he tell me those bumps were all by one person, more than once in my crotch, in my arse, by this somewhat attractive little blond. I'm reviewing his position as friend!
After the breakthough/resolution brought about by AL-LAD, last Friday, of how my late wife would have wanted me to enjoy life, after passing, as she loved me, I have been haunted by this urge to fornicate like a lost soul, sinning like fuck. If I cannot recognizer it in the above situation, I am beyond being helped and probably best castrated.
One more fuck up, and it's tartan slippers and matching dressing gown time...

Amazing series on BBC4 all about the move from Communist forces and control to the Western "Free Market" system in Russia. The whole series is about 7-8 hours long and made up of only home camera footage. The episodes on right now are called "Trauma Zone" which is covering the time when the people were given the vouchers to buy stocks in private company's but a small few people brought them all up & gave birth to the mega rich Oil types that now have homes in London worth ยฃ20,000,000.
I'm NO expert in Russian history but I know enough about what happened from the early 1980's up to today that I can hold my own in a debate with most folks. I take a special interest in what happened in WW2 over there also, The Siege of Leningrad was pure Brutal, also what's now called Ukraine during WW2 was so fucked up it's beyond words. Not many places can compare to Liberia in the early 1990's but Ukraine during WW2 is near equal!!!!
2nd part of Trauma Zone is just starting now, tune in folks as this is so interesting.

Anyone think EADD should start our own photo / graffiti / drawing / painting thread? I know BL has an Art section but I'm convinced this part of the forum has some really talented people on it and I'm curious what folks make, art in all forms speaks so much about a person.

Easy enough for me to say but the forum is better with you than without so how little or how much activity that looks like is the privilege of the other members and myself what is otherwise at the moment a somewhat sad and contemplative space

Read anything about the Einsatzgruppen? Teams of soldiers compiled from SS trousers, who's sole role was to go into Baltic & Ukranian villages, line them up and shoot them, due to their high Jewish population. I love the music by Burzum, I did a kind of Burzum tour when in Norway to see the places where his most famous crimes were done BUT his views about Political groups sucks ass, the link is to a T-shirt he takes pride in being linked to, I find it one of the most foul things ever. The worst IMHO in WW2 were the Japanese group known as Unit 731.

To me they were worse than any of the medical experiment's the Germans did by a long way. For some reason they aren't that well known about for some reason but I'm a huge "Otaku" when it comes to Japan, their history, culture etc so as I've been unemployed for a while instead of watching daytime TV for months on end I go online & learn about art, history, weird animals etc, due to being weird I check out the biggest Serial Killers of all time, most horrific medieval ways to kill people, worst cases of Genocide in history etc, I'm also a massive fan of a podcast called Time Suck which is Dan Cummings who's a stand up comedian who goes over a subject for several hours each Monday, he has covered all kinds of stuff from Serial Killers like Albert Fish, bizarre Cults, the history of Greece, the life of Vladimir Putin etc.......he did a 7 hour 2 part podcast on WW2 for example. I'm also a hardcore Addict of the show on Yesterday (free view) called The World at War. I'm not an expert on the subject but I feel I can hold my own against most people in a debate on the subject.
When that stupid online harm bill is passed so much of a style of Black Metal I love called DSBM will be banned due to the images on the album covers and the lyrics are straight forward self harm, depression leading to suicide etc yet most people will have NO clue what this is about and this stuff will go under the radar. I've been banned for 30 days for linking an image of a Burzum album which only showed a piece of Classical Norwegian art, the painting in it's original form hangs in the National Art museum yet I've seen this track posted in the open with nothing done about it!!!!!!!!!

The one bit of history I love to toss at the BLM & The Socialist Worker idiots who love holding up signs about racism is the early history of Liberia. The capital of the country is Monrovia named after James Monroe who was the 5th President of the USA & was a huge fan of The Back To Africa movement. Cut the tale short the free black folks who got on a boat to "go back home" ended up putting the native people into Slavery using 100% same methods they were subjected to live under, began social rules equal and at times worse than the stuff in South Africa, even killed people for having sexual relationships with people who "were below them" among many other examples of how kind humans are to each other.
