What god(s) do you worship by your actions?

I am not convinced that human can do this absolutely... we have our own goals in mind was my whole point, I think.

I am not personally offended but the beratement will derail the spirit of this thread and possibly discourage others posting as many would rather not be force fed one perspective of millions.
My experience? No one person has the monopoly on "truth". If they say they do they are delusional and power tripping.

It's okay man, there is no derailing.

By my dumb mortal logic, any apparent derailing IS God's strange longwinded (and bloody bloody painful lol) plan.

It has to be, but why such hurt I demand reason for?

Because the argument seems to be....we have a utopia here, only by having evil forever thick in our midst.

Don't even try and mortally unintellectually imagine a place without evil, because it, nor we could exist, in Heavem, in harmony.


So we can have our cake, but only eat it every 1000 years of war and massacre.


Do not defy this rule, even dream of Eden. You would threaten our very existence.

God won't be happy with that. He's got a big bet on here (he's a gambler lol, why else would Casinos even exist, in this perfecrion?)

You start dreaming up fantasy about some sort of living paradise, you will bodge it all up you naive imbecilc fool!!!

Well, if those are the finite terms, did we ever ask to exist? When did I sign up to this lease?

Well, I do dream of Heaven. I do rationalise that there may be a great spiritual battle, BETWEEN "good" and "evil", and there can be a greatly happier world or plain in time.


But I think for myself. It's dangerous both for us and ptb.

It's what the truth in plain sight films "Divergent/Alliegant/Insurgent" portray.

Blind faith works best. :)

It is interesting too note that when Christ died on the cross, the soldiers cast lots (rolled dice) for His garments.

I said it before broda.Faith is always blind.....in the beginning.Or it will be just knowledge,not faith.But with faith(without real knowledge)you slowly goes to real knowledge feeding the faith everyday.Just like the baby is been born blind.That's why mystics of all religion spend their entire lifes in caves,desert or even in monastery among brotherhood.There is a plenty divisions in Christianity from early Middle ages-one of that are isihast.A meditative form with constant prayer(A Jesus prayer),like mantras and different technics of focusing abilities....hard stuff,not for everybody...you got the Sufi in Islam,Yogis.....all share distinct similarities

Depending on the day and what I feel in each moment (and part) I read the Old Testament, sometimes I think that Jehova cannot be the same God as the one Jesus Father. It truly seems odd, revenge, cruelty, destruction, wanting some people (Jews) to dominate.. I mean, you wouldn't say it's perfect judging his actions.. But then, it's true that we couldn't really understand a being that is infinite times more everything than ourselves.

There's also the psychological aspect, if you were communicating with a dog is better to talk "as a dog" instead of as a human, cause he will get easier the tone or whatever aspects of communication. So there could be an psycho-historic shape of how God could communicate with humans in each period. In some way is how Hegel understood that, how culture works and evolves, in some way is like the divine finding itself through trial-error. Maybe in a way it needs to be like that.

But I get what you said..
 
I flip a coin and go for either jesus christ our lord and savior or sorath the demon of the sun, who is more powerful than any earthly evil, grinning from his prison in the center or the sun as chaos unfolds in our pitiful industrial world

Depending on if it's heads or tails, of course.

Feel like it is a pretty balanced life style.

Although sometimes I have conflicted Emotions about bouncing between empathy understanding and a sense of connection, and absolute madness and delight in watching things collapse Into a big fun mess

I guess those aren't gods, one is an aspect of the abrahamic western God and the other is a semi fictionalized demon representing the destructive power of the life giving star we orbit

But people say money is god and money is clearly money so I am assuming god is an abstract concept

I guess that, in this thread, God is whatever we worship, so our actions are guided by "gods". It's kind of creepy that in fact money is our world God cause everyone are obliged to be in that cult, and it's clearly abstract, cause money has the value we say it has, it doesn't have any value itself without the human conventions.

I think the worshipping of the Sun in most religions is not only because it shines and it's related with agriculture (and living) I think there's more to it but I cannot go beyong without semi-fictionalizing like you... ; )

If a mf chase that dolla all day and spend all his time, energy and creativity to get it by all means money is a god. Unless one is doing all the chasing to get a fix? Then would the fix be the god or are there more gods at work here? :unsure:

yeah, it's true!
The thing is that atheist and some spiritual people dislike religions because in a way they are "obliged" to believe and serve the same God, within some moral parameters and so on.
I get that but.. why they don't think our current world works as a cult?

In my opinion the last 3-4 hundred years have been the stablishment of a materialistic cult, the fact that their pushing NWO so hard is not because it's "new" in any way, is like closing the fold, a way of making the cult official for everyone. Before it was also "forced" but not to these extremes.

Now they have seen how to make it roll so that you have to worship their material and spiritual gods (cryptos, social media, unique education) through their holy books (digitalization, media).
As we live in a very complex world it's hard to see it from a bird's eye view but I really don't think it's much different.

The sun is cool cause everything on earth is somewhat reliant on it to survive but also eventually it will engulf our world and destroy life on earth altogether when it expands as the sun becomes a red giant

yep, and also other things can happen (and will eventually):

gigantic solar flares causing electromagnetic mayhem
another star/planet affecting solar activity (less likely but not impossible).

What would happen if the sun goes off for 3 days? will the Earth change because of the lack of energy hiting? because it has constant heat that surely affects earth's mantle and core activity...

That is weird.God told the jews-destroy and kill every woman,man&child even his cattle-the whole cities massacra.Cannot explain myself too.Act more like an angel of Death.Weird,but very interesting to me-studying Bible
