Yeah, doesn't matter with omicron. My sister probably had delta though last week.
Yeah I'm not trying to make an argument if you get me. Not with you I don't mean, just on it.

I'm so over that. I was just curious, didn't want to simply assume, as I do still attempt to keep a level of measure of things.

Thanks for answering that Buzz. Hope you are feeling alright man.

Hah all good man, no need for explanations or justifications if you ask me :)

Yeah I know man. No filters. But I value full openness and transparency always. So it's a nice thing to be able to easily maintain, because you can, not because you need to effort to do so or otherwise...lol.

Glad you say that (you ok).

Good Sativa here. Just exhaled 3rd decent vapor hit.

Jar 3 of the best plant we ever grew. Special weed.

Tucked under the bed beside it, is lately a fullish, still I don't know how? Cos I've been digging in, the jars usually noticeably empty to my eyes disappointments haha...

Of 2019 Northern Cheese Haze, wicked stuff too. Except a hybrid, but indica like on the mind.

I need Sativa right now though. So that's what, 4.5 months cured this Sativa one. Stoned. 🙂

Nice, I'd definitely prefer weed to the Seroquel zonk that I'm experiencing =D
I switched my gym program around so I'm there 6 nights a week, which helps offset the ugly zonk by bringing some life with it.

That's it. I'm hammered! That weed is something and I have the best way ever now of simply turning herb into a pure powerful inhalation so consistently to get the most out of it every time.

Try that shilajit Buzz seriously, or look at it a bit.

Yeah, I briefly looked it up at some point, but I saw the complex method of action involving serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline. Given the strong impact Rhodiola Rosea had on me I'm kind of hesitant. But yeah, probably not much harm in trying.
I fully get your reservations with specific drugs, supplements, like myself, it's vital.

We are not immune. I think there is something unique about shilajit though. Like, it's very unlikely to be a negative thing for any conscious body, not allergic to it (I am).

I mentioned it to you for a few reasons, your activity and fitness lifestyle, keeping focussed, energised, calm.

Keeping that balance too. I think Shilajit helps with that.

With physical stamina, energy and recovery especially. One of those naturally powerful detoxing things too, like mega high antioxidant too prob.

But most interesting to me is it's effects on consciousness and the brain. By reports predominantly positive. It's so "natural" lol.

My immune system still says strictly No though. I would be using it no question otherwise, for all round better being, thinking and feeling.

A great marketing ploy, I agree =D
How can I be sure you're not just a tool for big shilajit industry??
Seriously though, I'll buy some, if only to get you off my back =D =D jk man, you tickled the right feathers ;)

My girlfriend is really scared of covid so I have been prohibited from the gym (saving my battles for band practice) until the omicron wave has died down. It really sucks, I was going every day for like 2 weeks before Christmas, then when I visited my family for the holidays, I couldn't go, and now since we've been back I can't go. I find it really hard to motivate myself at home, plus I just have 2 sets of hand weights which can only do so much. I really need to be working out right now too, as I am coming off suboxone.

Dudes... Animal Collective is releasing a new album in a few weeks. It actually looks really dope and like more... musical? For lack of a better term lol, at least more 'controlled' than their last toured album I saw, Painting With. They're touring all over the East Coast and Europe... even going to Luxembourg! They can't make one pit stop West of the Mississippi so I could see them? C'mon! I've been to every tour they had where they came further West... just doesn't happen often.

Sucks man.... can't wait forever though. My overweight dad with his autoimmune disorder and heavy immunosuppressive medication sees his friends and goes out and stuff... cases are skyrocketing ofc but 90% (projected) of it is omicron and he's boostered.
I'd be massaging those restrictions, quite literally.......

Yeah no kidding... there is no reasoning with her though. She is even starting to think that you can only wear an N95 mask one time. Like I get if you wash it, it would be less effective, but it's not like it magically stops working after wearing it once, that makes no sense. She just bought like 100 of them and is anxiously awaiting them to arrive.

Doesn't prevent infections at all but seems to make the symptoms much less severe. At least here we are surpassing 2021's peak of active cases, but this time the hospitalizations and death are only a fraction of what they were last year. It could also be that this variant is itself less severe, but we have like over 85% of the population with three doses and over 50% of the people entering the hospital for covid are unvaccinated, so ... clearly over-represented.

Sucks that your GF is still so anxious about this, Xorkoth :(
Does she have any kind of immune disorder? Is she vaccinated? I can understand being anxious about this, but at the same time I'm so over the restrictions at this point. I'm going to take my first real vacations in over two years next month and I would hate it if lockdowns come back while I'm traveling. I'm going on a long trip to the far south of the country. I think as long as you are vaccinated and healthy, and take the proper precautions ( washing hands regularly, wearing the mask in crowded places) the real risk is not that high .

She's vaccinated and boosted. She actually never really gets sick, she didn't even catch it from me when I had it last winter. She has some chronic inflammation problems and is in pain every day and she has it in her head that she has a 25% chance of getting long covid even if she has light or asymptomatic acute infection. She's been reading horror stories. She read some study that said 25% of people get long covid, of course all that means is "some symptoms after 30 days" which can include such small and subjective things as more fatigued than usual and brain fog.

From what I've been reading, omicron is indeed less severe for most people. The vaccine helps against severe disease still even though it doesn't prevent you from getting it. Unfortunately the vaccines were all developed for the alpha variant and it's evolved quite a bit since then.

I've been hanging out with some Chileans lately and it has really inspired me to explore Chile some day. They did a road trip to the south recently and it sounds amazing. I've also been following an instagram channel that posts a lot of photos from that area - so many beautiful places

Yeah, definitely if you're vaccinated and doing the simple things like masks in crowded places and washing hands, you're more than safe to go about life. More-so if you're young and healthy.

I have to admit I'm a bit worried about long covid My wife has a couple of fit healthy young friends who caught delta or something, and 6 months later can barely climb a flight of stairs. A few anecdotes like that make me want to stay far away from catching omicron even if it is less mild, just in case it has similar long term potential effects.
