Sorry to hear about the manipulative parent. My mother is the same way. Very narcissistic and can never be wrong. She always “expects an apology”. I’m learning to live with it but man does it take its toll

Melatonin will help me fall asleep, but it fucks with my REM. Too many stressful dreams.

Buzzing on a bit of 2C-B tonight. I do want to add, despite having some increased anxiety potential due to its psilacetin-like activity, 2C-B is a double-edged sword, because it can also be highly stimulating and euphoric in a way that drugs like the MiPTs cannot.

I enjoy the increased dream recall from melatonin, I have stressful dreams sometimes but ever since ibogaine my dream architecture is so wild, any dreams I can remember vividly I consider to be worthwhile experiences.

Do you keep a dream journal?

I write down the ones that are particularly memorable after I wake up in the Dream Journal thread in the LAVA forum. It's stickied at the top. If I don't have time to write them down when I first wake up I rarely remember them. Like last night I had some pretty intense dreams but I remember nothing about them now, only that they happened.

I too have crazy dreams on melatonin, sometimes I take a big dose (20mg is the most I've taken) just to have extremely intense dreams, I don't think it does my sleeping chemistry any good but it's fun.
Last week I took about 15mg of DCK and fell asleep shortly after snorting it, made for some very vidid and lucid dreaming too.

I'll have to check out the dream journal thread, I always scroll right past it... Since I started mine I've found I can sometimes gain some basic control over the dream (go lucid basically) which is cool. It is hard to be consistent with journaling though. Last night's dream involved my ex girlfriend giving me head so uh yeah I guess I have some things still hidden down in the ole subconscious.

One time I snorted 20 mg melatonin when I was drunk and the dreams were WHACK but I remember nothing of their content, just that they were very intense and vivid. Cool experience, but absolutely would not recommend.

Melatonin is great. I take 3mg every night along with 1200mg of magnesium. I highly recommend. Magnesium for sleep, relaxation, muscle soreness. It’s become one of my favorite supplements because I feel a noticeable calm after taking it.
I make myself wake up between 6 and 6:30 am and those 2 supplements with MK677 make it much easier to do so.

MK-677? Isnt that like some kind of anabolic steroid? How does it blend with those other supplements? Or do you take it for muscle growth?

No it's not, it just causes your body to produce more growth hormone which is good for a lot of stuff. It helps to build muscle if you're trying to build muscle but it has other benefits as well. It also works with your body's natural process to produce growth horemone so it's safer than injected actual growth hormone. Plus it's orally active. It's good stuff.

The problem with supplementing Melatonin is that is wrecks daily hormonal regulation. It leaves Melatonin in your system way too long which delays Cortisol and other hormone secretions, which then delay other secretions, etc. It's really not a good idea long term, it messes up your circadian rhythm pretty bad. If you need to it to sleep well, there are other ways of raising Melatonin levels. Mainly, changing your light environment (blocking blue light at night with red tinted blue light blockers, waking up with the sunrise to set your rhythm, and then getting UV light in your eyes in the first 3-4 hours of the day) and peptide supplementation. For example, Epitalon boosts Melatonin production like crazy, and not just acutely.

For some people, like me, all of this stuff has been tried to no avail. Tbh what messes up your circadian rhythm more is probably a cup of coffee upon waking up. I'll have to look into Epitalon, sounds interesting. Melatonin can certainly cause dependency but it's not like I get cravings lol I just can't get to sleep as easily. Which I couldn't do anyways,

I take it to increase my appetite with hopes of gaining weight and muscle. It has a really good effect on sleep where recalling dreams is easier and you wake up feeling rested.

Maybe, but I could just as easily imagine morning caffeine actually helping to regulate circadian rhythms in a healthy way. A quick Google reveals that I'm not the first to ask this question, though it doesn't look like it had any positive results in that particular study. Evening caffeine disrupts circadian rhythms (no shit), but I can't find anything to condemn morning caffeine.

What I was getting at is how it essentially blows your adenosine out of the way and then around 2-3 o clock as the caffeine wears off the adenosine will come back with more force as the body tries to maintain homeostasis. So drinking it first thing in the morning is probably not ideal but if you time it so that the drug is leaving your body right around bedtime (drink it around noon or so maybe) then yes it could certainly help

Caffeine in the morning actually helps set your circadian rhythm. It's not a bad alternative to eating or exercising in the morning, which also gets your hormones going. The main problem with caffeine is that it causes cellular dehydration if you're not getting enough sun - or using infrared light therapy devices - that day.

Back from my exodus from society spent 5 days in a k hole binge fueled with shit loads of alcohol weed and mdma.

I haven't sleep in a while going to crash tonight went through 3 grams of ketamine. My last line i snorted two fat 250 mg lines up each nostril. Ketamine is so fucking mean but fucking cooked aswell visuals are so insane and out of body experinces

Wonderful. I plowed through 2 grams in maybe 4 or 5 hours a couple days ago as a parting shot, gonna try and quit it for at least 6 months and see what happens. It's too expensive, my tolerance is too high, the sides from regular use aren't worth it, and profound experiences are harder and harder to hit.

I spent a good hour speaking to no one in a perfect Irish brogue in the fashion of a drunk old man. Very curious. Either it's the disso slurring, latent Irish genes, or both. Drugs! 🧚‍♂️
im still a new user to ketamine so i dont fully understand the dangers but fuck it is really addictive and amazing with music alcohol and weed and mdma. The de ja vu i get on k holes was blowing my mind. Going to stay away from it now since its so expensive here i feel amazing afterglow from the ket binge though instead of the heavy hppd i have normally sober.

It really seems to erase stored memory, unfortunately. For me anyway. Plus, to get that heavy magic back I'd probably have to start IM'ing it, which I don't really want to do.

I think it's an amazing drug though, if one can manage using it sparingly.
