Been thinking about growing using the space bucket method as it’s easily hidden/controlled. Just for something to do, don’t even smoke it myself.

Yeh, the space bucket method looks good, but is a total fuckin faff.
I spent many a stimmed up week or six planning in great detail my space bucket ecosystem with sensor controlled nutrient, light and CO2 delivery, fume extraction and temperature control. Never got round to it (unsurprisingly).
Better off getting some decent autoflower seeds and banging them in a pot of soil. 12 weeks later, Bob's yer uncle...

Are there any auto flowering that don't stink the whole house out? I liked the space bucket idea as it could all be contained (and filtered) without having to go to the expensive of buying/setting up a grow tent and all that palaver.

If you're planning on growing indoors you'd still need decent lights, but you wouldn't need to fuck about with the photo period because they flower automatically after 10 - 12 weeks. You can keep the lights on constantly throughout this time. But the best thing is that many strains are bred for our climate, so if you can find somewhere discreet outside, they'll do just fine. Autoflowers dont stink much at all - they're not your high THC skunky type stuff and give a stone more akin to black hashish.
The first strain I grew was Frisian Dew. It's great for our climate, very mould resistant and produces lovely purple flowers and purple tinged sugar leaves...

The world we come out into after this will be a different one for certain. I wonder if China will play a smaller role in it over time. A lot of manufacturing was already being moved to other countries like India, I can only imagine the process accelerating now. COVID-19 will be a huge nail in the coffin after a long series of nails over time, like the decades of IP theft and history of human rights abuses, it was never looking like a good environment beforehand. Now people have been reminded in a very real and tragic way why China cannot be trusted because fact is the CCP's coverup is what lead to the pandemic being this widespread and severe. People won't soon forget something that has affected their own countries, friends, family.
