Not trying to play the sympathy card or anything......

That is a bandage.
How come it's covering your whole leg? The picture of the burn only looked about the size of a lid of mayonnaise.

I was curous about that myself.....it's a bit bigger than that (about 5 inches in diameter roughly but not THAT big). There is a gauze dressing underneath which they obviously want to hold firmly in place but knee to toe seems a little excessive to me. Although it has deteriorated quite a bit since I posted that pic yesterday.
I would never bandage anyone up that severely for a burn. Maybe they know something I dont![]()
It helps when they know you are in the profession. When i hurt my back my nurse unit manager took me down to ED (our a & e) we had to go to triage by law first but then it was straight out the back. Anyone urgent of course would have been seen before me but i certainly jumped the queue.Well covered knee to toe in a massive bandage and given a course of fluclox (as it turns out infection has already set in) and a date to see the rather fetching nurse practitioner again 11:00am Saturday to see how it's getting on..
Luckily I didn't have to wait too long as was triarged in about 10 minutes then bypassed the two hour wait to see the doc and got sorted by the nurse practitioner instead.....
In and out within 30 minutes...pretty efficient for A&E.![]()
As Sgt Shultz would say " I know nothing...nothing"Coming home from work Tuesday evening, had a fuckin blowout doing 90 down the A500! Pulled over safely, went to get the spare wheel, when I realised that was still fucked from the last blowout I had. Bugger! Sat there for 2 hours waiting for a recovery truck.
Then to cap it all, when I finally got home I tripped over a bleeding telly some cunt had left on my doorstep!
Er, did I say 90? I meant 30 of course![]()
