Lysergamides The Big & Dandy 1P-LSD Thread - Volume 2

Underwhelmed with 100mcg?? wooow

I had 25ug of 1p-LSD and my pupiles were very big... It took 2h to full kick in, but then I had flashes and mild visuals and a very powerfull stimulation and mood boost.

I was hittin the gym and the orgasmic waves were awesome. I took a few tokes from cannabis hours later and I was not full tripping, but is not a microdose, is more than threshold dose (for me)

Very powerfull substance. Today I feel little grumpy, lets fix it with some good kratom.

This is exactly how 25mcgs is for me and my 2 tripping friends. 75 mcgs at once was waaay too intense for me visually when I did that last week. Love having this sort of tolerance/sensitivity.

Thats why I say if you're going to re-dose, do it around 90-120 mins in, and don't double your dose, just take a bit more.

I think this is generally good advice, but on a first trial with a new substance I like to avoid redosing, because I think it makes it harder to gauge a good initial dose for the second trial. You never really know how much intensity was lost due to tolerance (from the first dose) or the staggered onset, e.g. dosing 100mcg and then 50mcg at the 90 min mark compared to an initial dose of 150mcg. So I'm probably going to go with just one tab for the first time.

I will report back how it went, could take some time though.

Curve is very steep for me too. Started with 1 a few times, which was very nice. Let's make this 'base' and call t 100%. Then we tried 1.5 tabs, which was a whole lot more intense then we expected, at least 200%. But then we tried 2, the biggest dose we've done so far, and it was 450~500%, an even bigger difference then going from 1 to 1.5. Combined with nitrous it's 800% for a minute or 2 :D
We all agreed that 2 tabs felt like a 'real' psychedelic experience, 1.5 and 1 being very nice also, but only just glimpsing at the real deal.
I've been thinking of microdosing for a while now, and might try .25 tab soon.

That would be too much for a microdose experience for most people. 30ish ug was a mild ++ on the shulgin scale for me. I would aim for 10 ug and take it from there if I were you.

How long do these stay active for? (If kept in the right conditons, and what would they be?)

No one really knows yet, I mean, how could anyone know? It's relatively new on the market. It seems to be pretty stable if stored correctly though.
Avoid UV light, moisture, heat and air. Do a search on "LSD storage" it has been discussed at lenght many times :)

I've tried experimenting with 1p at microdose levels with good results so far, although I only tired this once. I took 1/8th of a blotter and noticed a calm and collected creative stimulation which I found great for getting in the "zone" for making artwork. I didnt notice any visuals or distracting trippy thoughts at this dose. I think it would also work well for a short term anti-depressant, to get yourself out of a rut or if you find yourself feeling apathetic. I wouldn't advise doing this more than once a week though as it will lose its magic as tolerance increases.

10 is a bit difficult to measure, but I could try cutting it in half again, so ~13ug. I wonder how it'll be. Is it still so very stimulating, or should I be able to sleep at a relative normal hour if I drop around 1pm?

i am having very good results with microdosing. I've been microdosing 1p-lsd for almost a month now. What I did was to cut a blotter in two, then divide the two parts and divide again until having 16 little pieces.
Day one i took the smallest piece, and then i would take a progressively bigger piece everyday, until I took the biggest piece the 16th day. Then I repeated the pattern; I am in my 30th day, i got two pieces left from my second blotter.

I used to drink coffee everyday. Not anymore. I feel more focused, more energy, sleep better, enjoy higher libido, more drive but, the best of all, is this easiness to make connection in mental and real life. Like, business connections. I feel like i can see opportunities everywhere. It feels like a very good nootropic, so far.

Once i eat the final two pieces, I am planning to discontinue this experiment for a while to see how i feel

I've found out that, for me, the best time to take it is right after waking up, before breakfast.

Crazy.....most people around here that are taking it are being quite underwhelmed with 100mcg

I found 100 mics to be a very satisfying experience. I did all 5 hits single. My LSD doses are around 80 mics and I find that quite satisfying too as long as I took some time off for tolerance. I still can't tell any difference between 1p and LSD.

I agree with you there IME besides possibly a little rougher on the body load and the slightly longer come up it fucks me like no LSD I'd ever had (same type of trip and head space just clean and potent)

Or maybe because two weeks between trips it's not enough to maintain an insightful headspace for six months...
I have to add that we do not use strict frequencies to trip. That process is fairly organic. We just match up our schedules, whenever we feel we're ready for another trip. I mention 2-3 weeks because on one occasion, the shortest duration we had between trips was 2 weeks and it didn't affect the trip intensity, in the slightest.

In my limited experience, this seemed like a good way to go about this.

Moreover, personally speaking, that trip actually came right after a pivotal point in my professional career that had affected my personal life. I couldn't have wished for a better moment to trip. It felt like a holiday after a long, intense work period.

There was something lacking and I can't quite put my finger on it. A friend in the group shared that sentiment.

I don't think I would ever microdose on the job. That's too risky, but I am wondering about the effects on a weekend day, visiting friends or family.
Do you mind me asking a few questions?
- Did people notice something different about you? I find that on LSD, during peak, I find it difficult to get my messages across, but I do get all giggly. In the afterglow, I'm my usual rhetorical self.
- Were there physical effects? Like the limb jitters, the thick throat or the body temp fluctuation you get in the come up? Were your pupils dilated?
- Are you focused enough to drive and/or perform daily tasks (like doing the dishes or folding laundy, you know :))?

^ I never did it myself, but as far as I understand, the point of microdosing is to use a dose so low, that you can barely notice it yourself, much less other people. Of course the idea is, that it's supposed to have a positive effects, like cosmic._.ape described, but these are not effects that are commonly associated with being inebriated.

cosmic._.ape, I gather you feel tolerance building up wasn't an issue, or only a minimal one? I thought people were usually sticking to a schedule like one dose every 3-7 days or something like that.

I tried this (1 blotter, 100 ug) for the first time a few weeks ago having never tried it or anything similar before. Wanted to try the original real thing but didn't know where to get it so got 1p. I was with a couple mates round their house, they are curious and want to try it but wanted to see how I got on! After about an hour of taking it I was beginning to feel some effects when another mate came round and they said don't tell him and see if he notices any difference.
After a while I getting really confused about who knew and who didn't! And during that time I began to experience what I can imagine is a bad trip where every second felt like ages and felt like it'd never end and everything was confusing! But after telling him what I was doing I managed to turn the experience good and it was very good. Also went out on my mates bike to see how that was.

I would like to try it again in the next couple weeks but not sure where.

This may help...

How to Ensure a Good Experience with Psychedelics

The use of psychedelic plant medicines (or so- called ‘hallucinogens’) has been prevalent since the earliest of times from the drinking of Ayahuasca by the medicine peoples of the Amazon to the elaborate ceremonies centered around the peyote cactus by the indigenous Americans, to psilocybin mushrooms, Ibogain, and others throughout the world, working with potent plants to merge with the spirit realm and experience altered states of consciousness is nothing new.
What is new, however, is the way that these plants and ‘hallucinogens’ are being used and understood in our modern industrial society. For instance, to our ancestors and to modern day indigenous people and tribes, these plants were understood to be alive and to be very sacred and powerful and were used in specific applications such as ceremonies or healing rituals and were and still are overseen by experienced shamans and medicine men and women.
Conversely, it has become widespread from the 60’s, the 70’s and beyond in our modern culture for powerful plant and chemical substances to be ingested recreationally and often without a great depth of understanding or respect for that substance, generally without trained guidance, and in a variety of settings ranging from safe and intimate to random and public. These factors have a strong impact on the experience one will have with such substances.
Whether any given approach is right or wrong is truly relative to the individual having the experience. It could be argued, however, that in many ways there is much to be gained and learned from traditional practices and principles employed when working with these powerful allies and substances. By being mindful of how, where, why, and with whom you choose to partake of these substances, you can prepare yourself to have a much stronger and more full connection with the substance, and that your experience is safe, expansive, healing, or pleasurable, as opposed to scary, unhealthy, or less than satisfying. It must be understood, however, that in many ways experiences with hallucinogens cannot be 100% prescribed or predicted because they are powerful and have their own information and characteristics to impart.
As a quick users guide here are a few considerations to work with if you are thinking about trying a consciousness altering substance for the first time:
Respect: Have some respect for the power of the plant or substance you are about to work with in the same way you would might have respect for the power inherent in large bodies of water. The ocean is a very beautiful and captivating environment full of relaxation, pleasure, and life, but it can be extremely mysterious, dangerous, and unpredictable. For these reasons, it requires respect and psychedelics require respect in much the same way. Similar to the ocean, these substances can reveal great depths of ourselves to us that can be exhilarating, enlightening, and yes, very often scary if we are not well prepared. So step one is to have some respect.
Trust Your Gut: The important thing to know about learning to trust your gut instincts is that you first have to be aware of them before you can trust them. If you have a funny feeling about something, it’s for a valid reason, even if your logical mind can’t figure out what that reason is. Trust your intuition. If something feels not right about eating some mushrooms or taking LSD or whatever the substance may be, it is definitely best to wait until you feel in the flow with it.
The other nice thing about learning to trust your gut is that not only will you get in touch with your own wisdom and voice, you will line up with the voice of the plant you are eating (if it is a plant that is, synthetics may be a different story) All plants have consciousness and wisdom to impart and it can help to see it as working with that plant rather than using it. Be open to the consciousness itself of the plant.
Check Your Environment
Set and setting are everything. How you are feeling about yourself and your environment when you start your experience are literally the foundation and springboard from which your experience emanates. If you start out comfortable and secure and in a clean, organized, beautiful place, you’re pointing your ship in the right direction.
Speaking of beauty¸ ambiance is also important. Just like you would light candles, burn incense, have ambient feel-good music and beautiful fabrics present for an intimate or romantic encounter, you should treat your consciousness the same way prior to ingesting consciousness altering substances. Keep in mind that your scope of perception is about to be extremely expanded and you will be much more sensitive to sensation and visual stimulation. It might not be the sensory inspiration you are looking for if the trash needs taken out or there are heaps of mess and dirty laundry everywhere. A space that is somewhat orderly and peaceful can contribute to feeling grounded and well. Let your environment feel good and be secured.
Be People Smart-
Be people smart. When you are eating something like mushrooms for instance, you are going to be exposed to very intimate and profound parts of yourself. It is not unusual to experience your emotions very intensely. Therefore, think twice about who you are having your experience with. If you do not feel emotionally safe with someone, they may not be the best person to be diving so deep with.
Then again, depending on how the substance is working in you and how you are working with it, you could utilize your expanded state to deal with issues hindering the well-being of a friendship or relationship. So it’s not to say that necessarily everything must be 100% peachy with whomever you are journeying with, but I would say that it is imperative that you feel you can trust that person at a core level, that you are comfortable experiencing emotional intimacy with them.
Beyond choosing a good partner or partners to journey with, you may want to think twice before eating mushrooms, taking acid, or experimenting with DMT- or any other consciousness altering substance, around people you don’t know in unpredictable settings like parties or in public places like concerts- although I’m sure there are plenty of exceptions where settings like this may be right for certain individuals.
Have an Experienced Presence
A good option if it is your first time partaking of such substances would be to just have a person present who is more experienced and can at the very least guide you if your course at all becomes rough or if fears or unexpected thoughts pop up. Having someone present who can assure you of your safety and can remind you that everything is well can be very comforting should your journey take a turn for the disturbing or overly intense.
Maybe this person chooses not to partake along with you so that they can be that safety net for you- like a designated driver, except with consciousness. They can also hold space for you if something surfaces from the depths of your consciousness that needs healing or that you decide to really investigate.
Plan for Awe and Pleasure
Journeys through your consciousness can go in a tremendous variety of directions. Truly these types of experiences go well beyond the scope of an article. The point here is to just open a discussion. It is true though, that when you are expanded from taking a substance like the ones being discussed here, you are like the dilated iris of an eye, and so much more stimuli is being perceived and experienced by you and in such an intense way. Therefore it makes sense to play to the pleasure and enjoyment that are possible during such journeys.
Possibly consider having fresh fruit on hand. If you feel like eating while you are journeying (Which many people do not), it can be extremely fascinating and amazing to eat beautiful foods and the same goes for things you can visually enjoy. Visionary art and music and COMPLETELY change the vibration and direction of your experience and similarly, if you start going down a path you don’t want to be on, a change in music can be just the thing you need to get to a happier place.
Physical touch can be extremely enhanced and beautiful as well and how you feel inside your body and in the presence of another is different. Depending on how your experience is flowing and what your relationships is to whoever you are journeying with, you may wish to experiment with physical touch such as making love or just simply massage.
Give Yourself Time
I have found that having ample time to experience my journey without restriction or tight scheduling has a lot to do with my ability to enjoy the experience and heal myself through it as well as receive knowledge and new understandings. It would be ideal to have a whole day set aside and maybe plan to be free the day after your journey as well so that you can rest, reflect, and get grounded back in your body and waking life.
Frame Your Journey with Intention
In conclusion, the point here is to just be intentional when you are working with powerful substances. Every human being has the right to experience and experiment with their own consciousness. But as stated, they are powerful and deserve respect and consideration. There is perhaps no way to entirely avoid the experience of a ‘bad trip’ altogether because the depths of our consciousness are vast, however we can certainly set up a preferable frame through which to experience our journey and prepare ourselves a safe environment that will allow us a solid foundation to begin with.

i don´t get any noticeable effect beyond better mood, more concentration, attention, focus, stamina, libido, and general positive energy. I feel more articulated, which helps with my job (i am a translator). I also feel more motivated to do anything, from menial tasks that i usually hate —i.e. cleaning the toilet— to go play tennis or meet friends etc. The general feeling is one of more vitality in all its dimensions

keep in mind i am taking a sixteenth of 100mc blotter (that´s only 6.25mc average). Also, taking first the smallest and finishing with the biggest might help to keep tolerance in check.

I didn´t take any for the last two days, after 32 days taking it daily, but i had some poppies yesterday, and i can still feel its effects today, so i can´t tell how different i feel, but not that much, save for the poppies, i still feel the lysergic motivation, (i think)

I´m planning to spend a few days without taking any drug at all to see how it goes
