FairPlay to this fella that's on the bbc at the moment. He's from canvey Island and dying of cancer and he's some sort of artist or something. I can't remember his name, I may come back and edit here I've found out. He says he's not going to be be around to see what's going to happen in the future so he doesn't concern himself with it. It was sad when he was looking at the night sky. Looking at Orion and Saturn and thinking about not seeing them again.

An interesting programme and none of that Alan yentob in sight!
Wilko Johnston is his name. I'll find out about him when this programme is over and then do some real work, and listen to some real music while I get myself off the bag for another few days at the very least.

Currently lay in bed getting some rest, if not actual sleep.
I'm up again at 6 to do real world stuff, sadly, so I'm not likely to get anything more than Stage 1/2 sleep if any.

And this, ladies, gentlemen and others, is the problem right here. Nobody is willing to take responsibility for their own actions anymore. Everything has to be somebody else's fault, anybody's but your own. You simply could not be bothered to read the explanation that was offered to you, because you thought it had too many words. Well, maybe it just couldn't have been said clearly in any less. Some things just aren't that simple. Have you even any idea how selfish you sound?

Individual rights and individual responsibilities are opposite sides of the same coin. Your rights depend on other people living up to their responsibilities -- which are equally as incumbent upon you.

Or let me try and summarise it for you: Your minor personal inconvenience at not being allowed to use the word "faggot" is of secondary concern compared to another Bluelighter's deep distress brought on by the use of such words.

Was it Wilko Johnson from the band Dr.Feelgood? He was diagnosed and given 12 months to live about 2 years ago.

I have peeled 3 oranges for my daughter already ( yeah, she can do this herself! ) I must admit though that my hands smell lovely.

Suppose they smell better than when I peel baby bels for her.............

I love the smell left on your hands after squeezing lemons :D, it lasts for ages even after washing them. I often use Verveine shower gel which smells like lemongrass - really fresh and fragrant.
 
Good ol' payday, got another two weeks while mine but at least my partner gets paid weekly now she's got a new job so that's awesome/a horrifying prospect.

Vaguely motivated today, got an essay to do so gonna go buy some decent coffee first. Ours is shite. Had to take down some drunk prick getting violent with customers last night outside work after his mate got carted off in an ambulance, had him on the ground for a good fifteen mins waiting for police, thought I was ok after but aching from it now.
 
I don't know how you guys deal with it on a regular basis, don't often get much trouble at work despite being security so I was really surprised one drunk guy and his unconscious mate could cause so much trouble. Paramedics must have the patience of saints, they were there for a good hour or so valiantly ignoring the bellend trying to kill them. Rang coppers same time as ambulance, mind.
