^ hopefully we'll all have access to some pretty bangin psychiatrists who specialize in MDMA psychotherapy within the next decade or so
yesterday I went to the practice rooms at UCDavis and played some piano for a while and learned a song I've been listening to a lot recently. I wish jamming was more transportable haha. My guitar is still on the east coast at a friend's house
xork, if you want my version of band drama, get a load of this. Senior year of high school my best friend and drummer tries to steal my girlfriend and manages to kiss her. Shortly afterwards, they tell me about this kiss and pretty much all tell me to break up with her. I decide to give her another chance, against their advice, and they go on to make a band without me.
then my girlfriend cheated on me like 6 more times after that. I have long since forgiven them, and everything would have just worked itself out, but the other guitarist in the band kept the guitar I lent him for probably over 6 years now, and it got stolen when he was on tour in chicago
like wtf man how did you basically kick me out of the band then keep using my guitar for the next four bands you were in? Did it not cross your mind to get a new guitar the whole time? The worst part is he hasn't mentioned anything about reimbursing me in any way, as if using my guitar for 6 years doesn't count for anything because I could have came to his house and taken it at any time?
I just wanna be brutally honest to him and be like, "I expected you to eventually get a new guitar or multiple new guitars considering you were a touring musician for so long but oh wait you guys basically play exclusively 'punk' house venues and get paid next to nothing..."
at least the drummer of that band is now a famous touring DJ, "Louis Futon," who hooks me up with stuff sometimes (Including a 450$ VIP Camp Bisco ticket)
edit: BTW I'm liking eric robbie matt jam 1 v2. It sounds good, does the keyboard your using have velocity sensitive keys? I think your guys' sound would benefit a lot from getting one. (you should tell that chick to buy you guys new shit to stay in the band lol)
