Gibberings episode 0x000000c6(?) -- No in outs or butts about it. Anal fissure!

Many antidepressants inhibit the reuptake of serotonin leading to the brain being constantly flooded with serotonin. Psychedelics and similar drugs like MDMA work by flooding the brain with serotonin, but as the brain is already flooded the effect is diminished and could actually be dangerous due to increased risk of serotonin syndrome. Or summat like that anyway...

MDMA floods the brain with serotonin. AD's drip feed it pointlessly. Drop the AD's. YMMV. But that doesn't make you right. ;)

MDMA is a wonderful mental healer but the days after always left me feeling extremely depressed, partly why I stopped taking it. What goes up must come down etc.

I would really like to dip into my metocin stash but it would be a waste (and possibly dangerous) given im on quite a high dose of 2 antid's.

She's more of an expert on accents tattooed on her leg than you are on geography.

Bulgaria is definitely eastern Europe. Away with your two guesses. Snolly wins.

My world map is currently covered up by a map of Wales for some reason, and I couldn't be arsed looking it up. :p

OK snolly, I'll let you off with this story. This time. ;)

Doesn't make who/what right :?

I knew you'd take this personally. 'You' was in the general sense, not aimed at Mr FUBAR.

It's a shame we're having this conversation in the Gibberings thread but sure, what goes up must come down, it's one of the most useful mantras I've ever used, one that has led me away from any depressive path through understanding of just what exactly is happening. And sure, I know I'm lucky to have had 20 years of MDMA experience shared with a partner who shares my outlook and beliefs. I think that's kept me incredibly focused away from the seemingly inevitable (I.e not inevitable at all) path of depression. I am a massive believer in set and setting. And 'set' is probably the most ignored and misunderstood word in the whole drug lexicon.

I could ramble on but most will only tl;dr and my IPad will self implode and lose the fucking post anyway.

^ This to SHM sorry eve

Had my first pill in 86, so near on 30 years, I still enjoy the odd free party/fest but at my age (lawks) it would probably be dangerous for me to dance for 7 or so hours, physically i'm worn out.=D

So the odd occasions I use MDMA these days is purely therapeutic, just the wife and I in bed or at a beach etc, its perfect. With having kids we don't get the chsnce often, so each time is magical.

It was used for marriage counseling and PTSD treatment for a reason.;)
