Where is the most painful place you can get a tattoo?

I have tattoos behind my ear...it wasn't actually too painful, but EXTREMELY loud and there was also this odd buzzing type of feeling. So far the most painful for me has been the area around my collar bone. Although I did watch a guy get a tattoo right above his hip on his side and he was crying so hard. It's all subjective. I was told getting your ditch (inside of elbow) was one of the most painful spots and it didn't bother me at all. What are you thinking of?

Arms do get covered by 'formal' clothing lol it depends on what you clash as formal clothing... nah I've not had any private parts tattooed I'm afraid hahahahaha....

I haven't seen it yet Evey, I'll check it out And to the OP yea, typically more more of the bony/muscly areas hurt more than fatty areas. I have a full sleeve on one arm, almost a full sleeve on the other, behind the ears, chest and hip/thigh area. I've a friend that owns a parlor so I'm hoping to be of some help here. What type of design do you want? Asking because as far as where to put it, knowing the size would help.

Ah, that is pretty small so you have a lot of options. The back of my shoulder and bicep area didn't really hurt. I'm assuming this is your first tattoo?
