I suspect it's laced with some kind of alcoholic beverage such is almost always the custom in the land of heather and pissing rain ;) I cannot be plied by such trifles :sus:
 
I have slight burns after friday nights madness, ok just a little I can cope but it is still stingy :( on the positive side though who ever took me up and prayed to the god of plastic tubs thanks as I found it, the dog stole it and half chewed and buried it so going to have to get new tub now. so slightly annoyed on two things gggrrr
 
I have a book that I lend out to people and each time the person forgets to hand back or they have moved and took it with them. I have decided that the book is a book to be given and so now rebuy used copies online after each time I lend someone it, its the tao of pooh and the te of piglet I am on copy number 8.
 
Aye, Don another lesson learnt eh :\

I broke my Kindle 2. Gutted :( I'm going to have to buy a third as the warranty is out on the last one. With carpel tunnel and poor eyesight I really miss it. Real books are bloody heavy, I need to get a paperback on the go and tape my magnify glass to my one good eye over my specs 8(

I still haven't got myself a kindle. My visual faculties haven't abandoned me yet, thankfully (apart from the occasional rip in space-time and swirly pine wardrobes). I fear I would have an even larger back-log of books bought frivolously on a whim if I got a kindle.

I think I'm more concerned with their absence on my pretentious little book pile %)

Anything I haven't read gets placed so that the spine doesn't face out the way :\ There are 5 with that status atm, including the one you recommended. However, it is getting its use as a joint table before I pick it up again.

I'm not the violent type Kate.. :).. I'll just use the powers vested in me to tidy this not so subtle 'friend/speed' thing up...
