Oh man I wish I felt that good. It was Okocim Mocne. I am told 'mocne' means strong. There's still two cans left and I have no desire to go near them.

Ouch. That'll hurt. As far as I'm aware, 'mocne' does indeed mean strong, and it is.

Also this modafinil stuff intrigues me.

I've been trying not to hype it too much, but it's genuinely good stuff. Albeit dangerously versatile and functional. I can imagine somebody actually fiending on it in an attempt to get high and doing themselves some damage.

Got out of bed two hours early to prep for my seminar. Might as well not have bothered, no other cunt has done it.

Thanks Evey :) the language is absolutely horrible! The pronunciation is impossible! 8( still I'm coping, thankfully most peoples English seems to be pretty good over here =D

That's ace that some people can speak English. I think I saw Jesus (can't remember his full name at mo) saying that people speak English there, which would help. Someone actually told me once that the best way to learn a second language is to live amongst the people whom speak that particular language and I think soon you'll pick it up n wonder who you ever found it difficult. If you're forced to - and have no other way of communicating, that is. But I s'pose it may happen slower if people tend to speak English. Not a language person myself, but as you're there I'd take the opportunity to learn it.

I'm not sure which part of part of Ireland you're from (visited Dublin in 2004 to watch RHCP n LOVE the Dublin/Irish, such friendly, hospitable, people) and so I'm no sure if many Polish people visit there. We have 20,000 Polish emigrants in my location alone (not the whole of Wales lol). It's often frustratin when they speak in their own language as I can't understand it. Don't get me wrong I'm not judging them, as you know it's difficult having to speak another language so it's perfectly understandable.

All that waffle aside (Spliff Politics will be waggling his young finger :D ) But if you learnt it from your experience, and were to travel to the UK, you would be able to listen / n communicate with them. Would be useful if whatever your chosen career will be, involves travel / liaising with people of many different nationalities.

All that "shyte" aside :D I hope you benefit from, and thoroughly get the best out of your trip n enjoy it too xxxx

Bless you, and thanks. It's still pretty fresh in my mind (four months ago) but life goes on. I feel for you having to watch that - heartbreaking isn't the word. Just try and take any lessons from it that you can. Said the hypocrite. :)

Seconded. It shows a massive leap in your determination to actually address the underlying causes of your problems.

No doctor was going to take you seriously while you were still trying to induce psychosis and tap them up for medication. It's important to see things from their point of view, and to regard the services as a privilege rather than something to be used for your own ends.

Which is not to dismiss your previous declarations of suicidal ideation; I've no doubt they were genuine and that you were in a very bad place. It's just hard to take these things seriously when you're seemingly making every conceivable effort to drive yourself potty through drugs (and particularly notorious ones at that), despite a lot of advice and support from people on this site to the contrary.

I hope this newfound attitude is here to stay. Being mentally ill isn't something you want to take lightly.

Good luck. :)

Extremely wise n well written post, Sammy G. I totally agree n am extremely pleased for you, FG, that your are seeking help. It was very difficult sitting back, seeing you in pain n knowing there was nothing I could do to help you. As others have said PLEASE LISTEN TO THEIR ADVICE!!!! They can help you , yes, but only if you meet them half way n do your part too.

I'm assuming that the induced psychosis was a means of escape yeah ?! I, and NO ONE here can judge you for that. Especially the addicts amongst us who do silly, harmful things on a periodic basic with their DoC as means of escape the pain, hurt, intense emotions n so on, n so on.

Keep fighting. Think of us as your silent army, fighting with you in spirit n through words of support, honesty n encouragement.

Sammy G I didn't know that your Dad paased. I'm sincerely sorry to hear that, I really am <3

Why is it frustrating? Why are you so interested to know what they're talking about anyway? Most people talk crap, whatever the language. I'd rather not be able to understand it most of the time.

You had 18,023 Polish migrants in the whole of Wales in 2011, last time the figures were taken. Either there's been a massive increase in the intervening years that defies all trends, or you're swallowing xenophobic poppycock.

I'd rather not mention it too much on here (except when it's pertinent) because it's private and very personal business which is of no interest to anybody but myself and my family. But the sentiment's appreciated, thanks. :)

I had some seminars like that in my honours years at Uni... I just stopped preparing so I at least I could take notes. Boring as hell sitting twiddling your thumbs for 2 hours whilst no-one answers questions & you just get spoon fed what you already know. 8)

Screw THEM! You've not wasted time at all. You prepared = you learnt something, right?! You're not there for the others. You're there for YOU! Just shows you've more passion n wiill probably get further when it comes down to getting you career because you will go the extra mile, are determined, dedicated, prepared n eager to learn.

I can understand it being frustrating but think of the positives of this situation. Nothing is ever a waste unless you make it a waste - then of course, it becomes a waste. But how you think n react to this situation, and any other situation for that matter, impacts on the true outcome not the situations themselves <3

Morning, Chatty <3

Sammy G: no problem n perfectly understandable.

It's bullshit though. The prep work is supposed to be done in advance so that you can understand the seminar which will go in to greater detail. If you don't prep then you miss out on all that extra detail because the seminar is spent going over what is supposed to be prep work. Luckily some of my seminar tutors will throw out people who haven't prepped so they dont slow down everyone else.

Oh, and monce means medium I think not strong. I think it usually refers to the level of malt in a beer if you see it on cans.

Nah, mocne definitely means 'strong'. Though you may be right about it being used in reference to maltiness rather than ABV.

Then again, 'Bogaty Smak' is generally used for that purpose.

While generally speaking my interest in drugs is out of a mixture of professional interest and also learning more about pain meds I'm prescribed, I really curious about etiz...I'm rx'd a piddiling 5mg of diazepam a day as a muscle relaxant for my pain but I think a slightly higher amount of benzos might allow me to lower my opiate dose (although I thought that with pregabalin and tbat didn't work)....still I'd love tovgive etizolam a try.....what's it like?

Etiz works pretty well, but it's potentially very problematic and addictive. Which obviously applies to diazepam also, but at least your supply is controlled and regulated.

If you have self-control, then maybe it's worthwhile.

Direct translation of bogaty smak is just good taste.

Ahhh I see what you mean now. I really don't understand people. It costs money to study why do they bother if they're not going to do the work. Can you not complain? It really must be frustrating having the lecturer go over stuff that you've already prepared for, instead learning from the lecture.

You're class are lazy idiots n that would annoy the hell out of me.

What are you studying, anyway?

Business Management and Economics.

Nah I certainly won't be complaining, I'm no angel myself. I just had a grump on because I had got out of bed early to prepare for it and was tired and I might as well not have bothered.=D

Also, I'm supposed to be student rep for these fuckers so it's probably best I don't sour the relationship too much!

Business Managment really is about herding isn't it?

Inability to stay awake when drinking? You're a disgrace to Ireland, y'know.

Letting my country down, I know. *sighs*

Glad you had a good experience of Irish people, Ireland is full of Poles too, I actually know a good few personally! I think the Polish language is regarded as one of the most difficult in the world but I'll try my best anyway. Thanks a lot Evey ;)

Bunch of langers hahaha Cork people are dickheads suffering from Second City Syndrome.
