opis and benzos can all too easily fit into daily life as i think you have probably experienced yourself. Whether that is a recipe for using the substances succesfully is a different matter. How do you define success though? I beleive that in the short - medium term atleast, things can be succesful and sustainable with benzos.

Personally I would define success by the substances enhancing your experience of life rather than making it worse. Certainly there are many people who use substances in what you might describe as an addictive or habitual pattern but are perfectly happy and getting on with their life. That's not been my experience though.

For me, my current thinking is that worrying about what constitutes an addict and whether I need to be t-total and all that sort of caper is counter-productive. I just try to make sure that every day my actions are moving me towards where I want to be in life rather than further away. Who knows though, maybe that is denial in itself.....

Anyone believe in the notion that 'willpower is strengthened by exercising it'? Or is it just nonsense:?

This is the 2nd occasion ive obtained flubroz, and rather than bosh the whole lot in one evening like i did last time, apart from the one i lost somewhere, this time round i only took 4 of the 10, and didnt take any last night though i would have loved to. I just dont think they are conducive to either waking up early for work, or even having the motivation to even be arsed to even get out of bed atall. I do love the heavy duty hypnotic kick they provide, but i think for reasons of wanting to keep my job i shoukld only take them on evenings/days when i dont have to work the next day. If i did take some and actually manage to turn up for work, i dread to think how negligent my work would be, or what i would say to people without stopping to think of the consequences. They arent so easy to fit into daily working life, compared to kratom and minor opis, which kind of has its advantages.

What's negative can become positive with the choices we make n the way in which we channel our line of thinking. And our words!

I'd tend to agree... to a point. I tend to use the distinction "recreational drugs" and "lifestyle drugs". The former are generally fine by design - you can't become addicted and there's only so much damage you can do (generally speaking - obviously there are occasional exceptions) whilst the latter detract from one's life even if "one" doesn't realise it at the time. The simple fact is that nobody can afford a real heroin addiction unless they are millionnaires. Or got short-term thinking or a prescription. If anybody can afford heroin/crack/coke (or drugs of that ilk) they have more money than sense and may well be dandy. They'll be dead inside but probably were anyway so nothing actually lost. Benzos are a bit different cos are cheap as fuck with virtually no public education so people get into deep shit without ever realisinig until their score falls through one time well down the line.

I don't believe in being tea-total as being "the answer" but equally I know that addiction is slavery. Somewhere in the middle is where the sweet spot lies if such a thing exists.

Is this really a true reality,
Is this truly what I see?
My eyes are not tricking me?

Do you know what I mean
When I ask, are we experience the same dream ?
Is is, is it, really as it may seem?

Everything sensed distantly, near or far,
Is it how it appears from object-permanence to seeing that shooting star?
From stillness to speeding in a fast car

Are we sharing dreams, do we even care,
And how'd we find out if we do share?
Would we try to find out, how would we care?

Ugh too tired to write anymore shite lol

Do you not think you're being massively judgemental there? What's your reasoning? Anyone who has money doesn't bleed like other people?

Regarding an 'answer', I don't believe there is such a thing that can be generalised to all people with issues myself. For some people then I would say yes abstienence is either the only route to success, or the only route that's actually going to provide them with a decent chance. For other people that's clearly not true and maybe attempting full abstinence could actually be counter-productive. I think the route to success starts with understanding yourself and then making sure you put in the action that is going to be productive, which won't be the same for every person. Understanding yourself is a very difficult process for lots of people though (myself included).

Codeine is expensive believe it or not. Not the otc shite, the 60 mg tabs. I seriously hope to not be addicted again after paying a maximum of £500 in 3 days once that my bank blocked my a-c thinking fraud was going on.

I went for about a decade-and-a-half, give or take periods of abstinence and relatively-lighter drinking, and although I had the shakes every day, would end up drenched in sweat etc., I was never clinically an alcoholic, though I was clearly on the way. Then again, my old fella claimed never to have been one, and look what happened to him: booze dementia. Followed by death, ironically weeks after kicking the booze and my subsequent refusal to buy him any.

Hi Sammy
Been a lurker for a while so sorry for butting in. Just feel that as a heavy boozer myself who has watched my old man degenerate into infancy (very badly) I might be able to offer a few words. Rest in peace to your old man

I currently have three - count 'em three 8o - spiders in my bath. Big fukkers too. Couple hours back I had two. Last night I had one. What's mildy amusing is the biggest two were the earliest bathees and are currently moving again cos the new fella is a bit smaller but a lot feistier. I'll chuck 'em out the window (or whichever survive anyway) at some point but am fukked if I'm doing it whilst they're still all skittery cos I tend to freak a bit and end up tossing the bit of paper they're on for transference purposes which rather defeats the purposes.

Yeah "they" bleed. They have no soul though so don't count as actual people.

Shambles how are u matey? :)

Just dandy thanks, Nick. Hope and trust you can say the same :)<3

yeah just get one thing sorted and its another was warned that this could happen how its going to be a problem for the rest of his life just don't have £300 spare at the moment this is why i hate myself at times spending stupid money on drugs then something like this crops up and poor charlie is fucked for

Hello boys.

Apologies in advance

Warre's Port.

1999 - I wish that was the price. Actually cost me £26.99 from morrissons.

I'm not wasting money here however. I can afford this by ripping off the morrisons fuel voucher system to earn me lot's of £5 vouchers.

So by CHEATING the system, I am effectively STEALING vouchers to pay for this beautiful port to get very DRUNK tonight. Mother may get annoyed at all this, but pffft, no intention of honouring thy parents tonight.

No, that's a LIE. I'll keep it to the one bottle.

The same could be said about opiates
Alcohol really is the devil in disguise.

Evey

I have often wondered if the same could be said about raas/Creepy too? I'm not sure he's as true to his scripture as he makes out. ;)

What a horrible thing to suggest. When have I EVER acted against scripture??
