My husband is having severe anhedonia partially from stopping stims and long term suboxone albeit a very lose dose, but also from being out of work for 3 years and being at home with 2 kids. He is a mechanic and his inspection license expired while he was off, and he is getting that back so he should be able to get a job soon. In the meanwhile, I have him taking vitamin D, L-tyrosine, fish oil and some St. John's Wort. I have the St. John's Wort on board in the hopes it will give him the energy to exercise. He just WON'T DO IT. One excuse after the other. He says walking isn't aerobic enough for him and if he runs he will hurt his knees (has gout). Says he needs a bike. So I will be buying him a bike this week and we will see what the excuse is next. Problem is if the answer doesn't come instantly it isn't good enough. This is hard for him, but hard for us too. I had some issues that exercise has helped me with and I really hope he will soon see how much it can help him. It helps sooo much, with PMDD symptoms. If I don't walk at least 4 times a week, I am a bitch on wheels that time
