Recent(ish) Clark stuff...

Clark - Superscope

... is not as good as his less recent(ish) stuff apparently.

Battles - My Machines (Clark Remix)

(the shadow people don't count)[/I] <3

Depends on the particular shadow person involved. Some are right cunts but some is a bit lovely <3

Satan is boring, FG. Not to mention he's also a medieval Christian invention.

I've said it before, and Dan's said it now: get some help. Please.

I agree far more with that. Insanity is fine but attempts to use 'Satanism' to shock anybody outside of the actual buckle of the actual Bible Belt is sheer folly 8o

Last heard Sweat Loaf at a friend's house when I was on 25i-NBOMe and convinced we were sitting by a riverside even though we were only in his flat. :D

Thanks for the reminder. Underrated band. Said friend met Gibby and he was apparently lovely. Who'd have thunk it?

Oddly enough I know of a fella who knew a fella who met that fella and said much the same thing. Maybe he really is a lovely fella after all.

Been having a variety of Scroobius Pip moments of late. This track is fukkin brutal though and surely enough to please even those that don't do hippity hoppity stuffs? Surely so. I fukkin double dare you, Sammy ;)

Scroobius Pip - You Will See Me

(brutal enough i backed off from posting it t'other night in favour of an 'easier' one instead despite it being the one i wanted to post)

<3

In relation to that track wot somebody just deleted...

te_ri - Girl/Boy Song (live)

To further the vague pissing on person's chips theme, isn't it damnably annoying when somebody with actual talent finally manages to replicate what somebody with no talent programmed several years ago and somehow manages to prove both were spectacular achievements? :(

(in case that's not obvious enough, the gee-tarist is ten a penny... that drummer is just stupidly impressive though <3)

Ah yeah.. was gonna find something better.. loving that cover, wicked drumming

You may like this... worth a listen
Letherette - 'After Dawn'

Hmm... you and others have mentioned this thing - of related things - of late. Will listen... just after I finish listening to a thing I posted in a place which does not exist in our general realm of existence...

*grammar status: f00kin' #rekt

If I were but a Northerner I'd adopt ya on the spot <3

(also, hecq <3)

Hecq (with Nongenetic) - I Will Survive

In not especially related news...

Cloaks - Sixmenace Two (Oyaarss Remix)

... which (by definition) has to be followed by - or at least include - a linky to...

Oyaarss - Untitled Empty Space

<3

In somewhat related news...

Happy Mondays - The Boys Are Back in Town

<3

Pee Ess: That Letherette tune is close to being good without actually being good, Dan. Maybe the album cos does sound promising... the actual track you posted is quite shite though, Dan. Shite but with promise of having Goodness in the background somewhere.

Pee Ess: Couldn't resist...

Happy Mondays - WFL (live @ The Ritz, NY '88)

Sound quality aside, far-kin-chooooooooooooon <3

More laziness...

(and the rest... <3)

Chris Liberator & Sterling Moss - Scum Like Us Like Acid

Immersion - My Name is Acid

<3

The Orb: influ-fucking-encial abso-fucking-lute legends!* If they weren't to have existed, electronic music would be quite a bit different, albeit way less 'dubby'. Hell, it would probably have delayed the emergence of 'IDM' by a few to several years.

Don't even get me going on The Orb...

The Sphere - Big Grey Clouds

The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds (live '93)

(latter being probably the bestest orb album to date even now <3)

(am i allowed to do that? music transverses boundaries so probably...)

<3

Whilst I'm at it...

^ LFO <3

I'd expect no less from yer goodself, Noodz <3

And now, a lil treat for folks less UK-bound - bet your local news ain't as good as this :p

"Dry ice psychosis..."

=D

Seriously. What happened to regional news since then? :(

Pee Ess: Double plus bonus points for 'Holly Nodwell' mention at the beginning of that clip =D

oh I'll deffo give those a go, cheers. Love me some Yo La Tengo. It'll help the Zzzzs kick in after thrashy guitars, ta.
